Fuck....wish i woulda seen this before yesterday....what a bunch of bullshit...I also purchased seeds and am trying to pay by bitcoin......I dont think it matters which seed bank a person buys from, its the fees the exchange (coinbase ) and trying too spend it and have anything left of it in the end.I purchased $125cdn lastnite from coinbase,of which they kept a small amount. So this morning i had approx $132cdn,as it had went up about 5 points......i thought hmm this is neat.......until
I placed my order, got a bitcoin invoice with instruction to not send from an exchange.......so i transferred my crypto shit currency too my digital shit wallet app.I was able too send $106cdn approx to my wallet, then when i went too pay my invoice which was $80cdn......i was told i had insuffcient funds too pay....I dont get all this blockchain fuckery, its all smoke and friggi mirrors too me.........too bad something i heard was meant too be so good for everyone has turned into another scam for the rich too take money from the poor.......i cant even sell the shit ffs....BITCOIN IS BULLSHIT !!!!

its not a scam. if you actually payed attention to what you were doing you would have clearly seen the fee coinbase charges when your purchased your bitcoin. i mean you sound surprised, why would a business operate for free? how do you think they make money? i always tell everyone that asks me about bitcoin ALWAYS BUY MORE THAN YOU NEED TO COVER EXCHANGE AND BLOCKCHAIN FEES. bitcoin is not difficult but its not for your average pleb either. sorry about your experience, bitcoin has been treating me just fine.

Sorry to hear this remington .. that is pretty much same type of BS I went thew. I started off with plenty of funds for my order but by the time they get done raping me in fees, I didn't even have enough to do anything . Seems easy enough to get funds in but then get screwed if you attempt to do anything with them once they are in there. Some people swear by this bitcoin thing , I personally will never bother with it again , was just shady as hell all the way around to me.

Not for the average pleb.......you are right badmojo420.......but it was a very cheap lesson, cost me about 45% on a $125 exchange too figure that shit isnt for an average dude like me........but that was last year........Happy New Year everyone....keep rollin, and smile'n...

just requires a little more attention than swiping your credit card. coinbase isnt exactly cut and dry with thier fees, but if you pay attention youll see them. blockchain fees are ridiculous, theres 120,000 unconfirmed transactions right now and a little while ago there was a spike in block difficulty so they are taking longer to process. coinbase doesnt allow you to change your transaction fee but other wallets do coinbase should really just be used to purchase, any bitcoins should be transferred to another wallet. exchanges are subject to high risk from hackers. its not uncommon anymore.

small purchases like this is not really reasonable with bitcoin anymore. i dont really spend my bitcoin, i buy it and send it to usi tech and use it to buy their ICO tokens. everyday purchases are not realistic. before long seed banks will be taking things like bitcoin cash, lite coin, dash, ripple, etc. it wont be long. bitcoin is still good but its a long term kind of thing i think. probably 7/10 people are holders. bitcoin isnt going anywhere but its paving the way for better coins. just give it time, cryptocurrency is in its infancy still.
