why so small?

get rid of the hydro set up. your just making things more difficult. a lot of growers make mistakes adding too much of something trying to get super growth. give the plant a chance to do its thing. use soil that is high in nutrients and watch her blow up the first month using only water. once they get established and can actually use a lot of nutrients start feeding. less is more.

i wanted to post something to let everyone know what was truely going on with my setup. so everyone will no you don't just give out shit info to someone and tell them they suck and throw out something that cost money. i don't suck at hydro because i have other plants in hydro that are doing wonderful and no thanks to anyone on RIU. non of you should become gardeners stick to pot growing. the one thing that was so fuck up......air flow. i got a small 8 inch fan that moves more air around. i ignored the feed feed feed like everyone says "it the best way to do it". things that did happen to improve what was wrong was importing fresh air from outdoors, an extra fan, and adding h2o2. again i followed everyones advice before hand and you'r peoples advice 2 weeks prior to what was holding it was in fact holding it up. i would advise some of you to go to school and get a degree in plants if you want to continue growing and giving advice. i haven't fed my pineapple chunk in 3 -4 weeks and chopped the top off, because it had a molybdenum def because i was feeding it like i was told to from RIU. like i said before this is just to a post to let people see that not all the advice and calling yourself advanced while telling someone they are the problem and they are making it more this and that, is something you should keep doing. thanks for all the fucked up shit you all said so someone else might see this and know what ever it is you found out.

nobody gave you shit information! if you`re so smart, why are you asking what`s wrong? you dont feed feed feed, you only feed when you change your res. where are all these great plants of yours? you don`t want the answers, don`t ask the question. you want to waste your time growing out an 1/8 of weed that`s your prerogative but when you ask what`s wrong then act like an asshole when you`re told, you`re gonna get jumped on!

I agree lose the hydro system. I tried hydro, bought a system, and a good meter. I ended up with a small plant that would grow anymore. I tried with hydro a few more times. Doing everything by the book, and still couldn't dial in everything in correctly. I lost a couple more plants. So I say...let's try soil! I bought a bag of ocean forest, and planted a seed directly in it. Soon after, I had a huge tree with buds everywhere? I have never looked back to hydro, just not for me. Soil seems way more forgiving? I also don't have to use nutrients for a full month, which is how long I like to Veg a plant.

I cloned five cuttings a month ago. 4 were in the peat cubes, and one in rock wool. The four are a foot tall and are very bushy, the other is still in a solo cup. All five came off the same plant.

Maybe consider a hempy (drain to waste), as this is a great way to grow with hydroponics, as it's very forgiving

Dude, you got to learn to chill out as you are condemning everyone in RIU.
Not all us are giving you "quote" fucked up shit.

Have you ever tested your PH meter? PH was key for many of my early mistakes, one being don't trust the meter bran new ALWAYS calibrate it before using.

Man you can't ask for help then when people tell you how you messed up go and say it's their fault, that's just silly.

you've got balls i'll tell you that. peat pellets to hold for hydro? good idea. i'd strip the peat off them carefully and rise the rest with water. but as for the question no, i have not had them soaking long. 2 days at most. the rockwool has been dried out for weeks and the mass of the roots is large. i just moved to 2 air stone . my other chamber was finished so i didn't want to waste the air. how much air flow is needed for a 7 by 7 by 6 foot tent? like i said i have a walmart window fan( 2 fans one housing unit). 2 6 inch inline fans taking air out and one 6 inch taking it in. i'm just trying to list all the factors of the tent as best as i can. one cool tube the other has wings combined i've got 400 watts. the light has been used for a year solid along with the ballast.
I too use peat jiffy pellets for my dwc hydro grows and never have a single problem. I veg for 6 weeks once the roots hit the water. I get around 9oz per plant (uk cheese) . Good luck
