I am 1 month veg with Super Silver Haze and Jack Herer
they reach 9'' now,my question is if i veg for one and half month more (thats 2 and half month of veg total),will they outgrow my 7' tent
They are in 10 gall smartpots
600w Dual Spectrum
24/0 cycle
There are some pre-flower pistils already showing
Other question is when is a good idea for me too start the flowering for a decent yield?

veg enough so 80% of your scrog screen will be filled and then flip, you should get a decent yield. just remember maintain a nice canopy :)
thanks del,so 45 more days of veg with topping filling the SCROG and they won't go too tall for me?

I'm not sure if you understand SCROG technique.

You need to setup a screen approx 10" from the top of your pots. 1"-2" squares are perfect. You then proceed to allow your plant to grow through the screen. Each time it grows above it you have to pop it back down the square it came up out of and along to the next square. You have to do this with anything that grows above the screen.

Once 75% of the screen surface has plant material in it , you switch to 12/12 and continue the same training of back through and along to the next square until you've filled 100% of the screen. Trim off any growth below the screen and your done. Maybe the odd leaf trim here and there. Plenty of air movement across the canopy and below the screen will help keep mould away.

No problem.

You could top them and flower them once they reach around 12" after topping. Finishing around 2.5-3ft. You could 4-6 of these under 600w. Keep them happy and healthy the whole way through and you could easily achieve 4oz per plant.

If you choose SCROG I would recommend a 3.2x3.2ft screen.

i think you're vegging too long. but it's your grow.
i tend to agree here.

if your Scrogging then you shouldnt have to worry about height but in 10 gal pots pre flower stretch is going to be immense, keep training and tying and moving and tying and you should be fine, Mj can take alot of tying and manipulating.
