Will they survive?

Shaman & MK Ultra

Original set up:

Small pots, RE-USED and not very well rinsed perlite and soil (could not get to the shop, and made the mistake of planting anyway).

They were growing okay for the first week or so, under an 85W CFL (6500k) then they started to go downhill quickly, literally overnight they had severely browned/yellowing leaves, and no new growth really since about week 2.

The tent I had them in had no airflow, which is another mistake on my part. I was trying to get a 2nd grow up and running without all the components and this is the result.

I have now decided to go with hempy buckets for my future grows after some extensive research, and thought I would transplant the sick seedlings into the hempy buckets in order to try and save them. The roots were white after washing the soil off, and although not in the greatest condition would them being white signify them having some life left, despite the awful leaves?

Will the tiny amount of green allow them to live?

Thank you for reading this rather boring post, and I appreciate any help, advice or comments.

I have given them one watering with a really tiny, say 10th the dosage of a 15-3-3 fert in the hempy buckets after transplanting.

They are now under an LED 135W and an 85W CFL in a tent with flowering plants, so they are also forced on 12/12 lighting, could this encourage root development faster?

I would ideally like them to grow for a week or so in this tent under 12/12, then veg them properly in another tent, if they survive, will this increase hermie chances etc?

Thanks again everyone

Time to start over bud. You have learned a special lesson here that you should only grow what you are able to properly maintain within your budget/time schedule. With the amount of damage they have recieved so early in their life they would not be work even trying to save.

your plants will become stunted and might possibly add weeks to those plants finishing and greatly increase the rate of them going hermie.

I would personally kill those two off and start fresh from some new beans.

If they are clones from a mother kill those and cut some new ones (even from one of your flowering plants).

When you watered them overnight what did you water them with? i would assume something in the water either PH or something effected those cuttings.

TL;DR

Kill those off cut some new clones from a flowering plant about 4 nodes up from the bottom and it will take some time to revert back to veg state but it will give you a better result without any fuss.

They might live. I'm guessing there both from seed, as the first pick has a seed leaf.

I'd put them in dirt (dunno why they'd be in penlite) and not fuck with them, and start some new plants in case they don't pull through.

Are these fem seeds you bought? If your planting bag seed, you got a %25 chance of getting double males.

IMO, the only way to TRY and preserve the genetics (if you even want to), is to cut the plant at the base, and place in a glass of water till it roots

Wow, thanks for all the input guys, really a shame if I have to ditch, MK ultra was quite expensive, but lesson learned..

They were fem seeds yes, and I have taken 7 cuttings from my other flowering plants, 1 about a month ago, and 6 the other week, the first has successfully rooted and has just now started to re-veg, so thankfully I do still have a slight head start on a fresh grow.

I have ordered 4 new seeds tonight anyway just in case.

Chemdawg, Super lemon haze, blue dream and vanilla kush.

Then going to start buying non fem seeds, and sexing as it seems less of an eggs-in-one-basket scenario you get with a solo fem bean.

Thanks again everyone

They are in perlite as its a hempy bucket, its 100% perlite now. Am using them next time around and thought it cant hurt trying to save these babies, who were in soil to begin with.

Cheers mate, phew!

Really wish I took cuttings in veg, but bought it thinking it was an auto. Looking like my best plant by a long shot.

With the new pistils, will there be new calyx growth?
