They sent me the inline last year to test. I didn’t have much luck with it but I recently started using it again a couple weeks ago in my rdwc and has been nice. It stay between 5.7-6.2 although it hovers around 6.2 a little longer than I’d like, it does eventually go back down
Do you think still monitoring it and then adding ph up/down when it gets too far out of wack is a good option for if this happens? I am working on building my system soon. Pumps are in the mail and then I will be getting a mini tent and be messing around with the new system I'm going to build.

My tent is a 20x20x48tall for experiments. I planned on going with a hydro setup for this chamber, and possibly using the top half for doing clones and stuff when the "hobby" chamber isn't in flower. I bought a 18x 18x 47 " wire shelving rack to go inside of it. I hope everything fits.

Reading the uses of the inline perfect pH... I think It is primarily designed for recirculating systems. If I install this Inline to a flood and drain setup, I think it will be a great use

If I use it for a DTW system like I was hoping, I don't know. It seems like the whole sell point is the ion balance while in contact / out of contact with the roots. The whole idea of DTW is to be able to just have extra runoff, so I'm wondering if it is really worth it to run two pumps like they recommend and do all that especially for a hobby setup.

I really want to do everything right to give this a chance ; I would love to see anyones input on the design or type of hydro system they recommend me to use!

5 gallon DWC with expanded clay pebbles and rapid rooter plugs.
With an auto pH meter, I could set up my single reservoir that feeds into the 6 buckets. This would ultimately save me over 30 minutes each day. That's 40 hours over the course of a standard grow!

I’m in the uk,
Using mineral Nutes for a 45litre single plant DWC using hydroton.
Getting into my res is a PAIN!
Love to have some kit for levelling ph. 1 less thing to panic about!

Anyone actually ever use this? I wanted to for my new undercurrent grow with an inline, but I reached out to Torus and got zero response and haven't found any full grow journals with one. Has anyone seen an actual grow journal where they used one to completion successfully?

I received the in-line version as a tester last year and only had luck with it for about a month then it wouldn’t keep my ph in check anymore in my rdwc system. I even ordered their recharge solution and that didn’t fix it, it kept bringing my ph down only.
Granted, I didn’t do much as far as reaching out to customer service and whatnot tho

they're still here somewhere. I have the kit too I just have had too much going on to test it. The person I was messaging was pretty nice about things, I plan on doing bucket type DWC system

from what I gather it is supposed to be introduced after the plant is well rooted, and it will basically remove the ions created by the roots that are supposed to change the pH. I owe it to them to test this out but the inline edition is supposed to be on a second pump (i would do it as a stirring pump) and then you need a second pump to distribute the water.

Currently I am running drain to waste which I don't have any issues with pH on so I want to give it a go with something where it would make more sense. I could try it on this mars hydro /HLG side by side I'm doing though, maybe that would be the best application but I was trying to make the comparison easy for myself by doing a grow method i'm comfortable with

good to know I may run into problems with this, when I get to it I will be sure to monitor the pH

I think that as long as they don't come up with controlled evidence that it works, they will not sell a lot of these things.
The concept works; there is evidence for that. But not in all cases (it can only bring pH down OR up. Not both as I understand)

Dr. Daniel Fernandez once had a nice post about how to do it yourself, but he recently changed a post from 2010 (!) and replaced his DIY with the advice to buy Taurus. Hahaha. Perhaps they pay him. No clue.

Amberlite cg50 has been around more than a decade, it’s a carboxylic acid cation exchange resin.
Do you have knowledge about what product replaced Amberlite CG50?
The post by Dr. Daniel Fernandez is about 10 years old, so I assume they came up with a new product. Perhaps even cheaper.

DTW, Coco, GH Trio in 5 gallon fabric pots. Would love to be able to create reservoir to automate my grow. Canada.
