Worried I over dried?

Hey guys this is my second grow and I'm worried that I messed up in the drying process. My first grow I grew three different strains at once( mistake for my first grow.) I think I harvest to earlier and it had a hay smell that I could not get rid of and I may have let it dry too long .
So I just harvest my second grow which is critical orange punch and I know I didn't chop too early on this one and my drying room was on average about 74° temp and humidity 55. I let it go for 9 days and when I was trimming the buds to put in the jars for cure a lot of dry shake fell off from them and they were really dry to the touch should I have not cure them in jars just yet? Should I have done something else before I put them in jars for curing? I placed them in jars with a 62% Boveda humidity pack and now they're in a dark cool place it's only been a couple hours if there is something I can do to save it. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Toss a hygrometer in the jar to monitor humidity. Leave it in the jar til you see it sweating inside. Then burp them. Let the air exchange and bring the humidity down in the jar.. then close em back up. I wouldn’t have even put the pack in yet. Just a meter to see the moisture level.

Yeah...I was debating throwing those packs in. Thanks!

They need to be in brown paper bags for a couple of days after hanging and before jarring.

Well, it works well for me.

Looks like you've had them hanging too long and also that temp is too high for 9 days hanging.

I've grown COP many times and it's a great smoke.
