The prices of seeds these days are just retarded. I heard dr greenthumb had a variety that was $100 a bean. IMO, $3 a bean is about the max anyone with a heart, and conscience should be charging. It kills me to watch these "compassionate" hacks who sell beans for 70-100 bucks for 10 seeds.....Sounds real compassionate to me......even funnier when they say "oh I have given away more seeds then I could ever sell"....right, sounds like a grand excuse. " I donate all proceeds to charity"...right...the list is endless

I have much respect for many breeders that sell on Attitude, but I frankly think every last breeder on there is extremely over priced. I can hear the breeders just screaming that they don't create the prices at attitude....but you sure create the price at which attitude buys the seeds at :)

Everyone loves TGA but damn every seed I have gotten over the years germed some of my worst plants. Now the clones I have picked up were nice, but any direct seeds seemed to be poopoo.

Now Cali Connection.. mmmmmm

I would have to disagree with the folks saying LSD sucks, because on my first DWC attempt i did everything wrong and out of 3 strains, it was the best. It did so well I am running it again in soil to try and reach its potential.

The worst strain I have grown so far would be Sharksbreath, the second worst would have to be my worst jillybean pheno. With that said, i had another jillybean pheno that is in my top 3 favorites.

Also AK48 by sagarmartha was supposed to be auto flowering and it set in my veg closet months and never flowered. I wound up killing it because its size :(

Reserva Privada Og Kush. Isn't working out well for me. Out of 6 seeds, only 3 grew to be viable plants. That all looked different and all produced way different bud. Three weeks into flower I started having bad nutrient problems. I'm 5 weeks into flower on my 3rd attempt and still can't keep them healthy. Time to move on.

good luck...it is a finicky strain..needs half the nutes most strains prefer and really needs to be topped a couple times...you are probably over feeding....the yield is weak ...a 7 foot plant that vegged for four months will yield only 5-6 ounces...stretches way too much in veg but kinda fills out nicely but not nice enough for me.....and it takes way too long to flower outdoors..like early to mid november. once was enough for me on o.g.r.p...not easy to clone and 2 diff phenos...one gets purple/black...one gets real leafy and is very green... not impressed but the smoke is pretty decent though...way better options than ogrp

i'm mostly a sativa/indica guy. heavy on the sativa.

i bought s.a.g.e. when it first came out. i was a whore for genetics back then and had so many going i don't remember if i liked it or not. i don't like the F2s i made at all. i've grown them out a couple of times. they are very uniform in look, are good sized plants but they are very very leafy. the amount of sugar leaves is nuts, and they all have an odd smell. not unpleasant but it doesn't smell like pot. it's like a spice but not peppery. it may smell like sage for all i know.

they were good size plants but i've gone both 60 days and over 80 days and i just don't like the high. it's weak. i probably won't be growing it out again but it could have been that i selected a male that sucked.

i had high hopes for this genetic. thank god i have a few more available!

DJ Shorts True BlueBerry and Blueberry were the single biggest waste of money in my seed buying times. More so, they have the most extreme variation from plant to plant than in any other variety I have ever grown. I had pheno's that would flower for 15 weeks and smell like grass from the bottom of a mower to 9 week indica's that barely yielded and faintly smelled like fruit. I think there are rare pheno's to be found in the blueberry line by dj, but you just have to run a zillion of them to find one that actually smells, and taste like real blueberries.

also thoughts on flying dutchman?

Yup in my days of searching for a real blueberry tasting and smelling variety. I will give more credit to dutch than to dj. I think what dutch did was find a pheno that had blueberry characteristics. More stable and uniform than dj's gear but I would not recommend anyone dropping money on the blueberry from dutch. I found many varieties that taste and smell of blueberries along the way. Dutch is not an honorable mention.

I recently was given some beans by samsara of "spicey white devil" and it is my most blueberry tasting and smelling strain to date. Reminds me of a clone I got from soma in the dam in 04-05ish that was NY Big Bud X Blueberry. Taste and smell was dead on blueberries but it was really lack luster. Looked very weak in flowering and took about 11 weeks. The samsara was down in 9 weeks and was super frosty. Very Classic Indica stone!

medicine man from mr. nice was a big disappointment. not much of a high at all. i was looking for a knock out indica. i'm still looking.

all the sweet tooth #4s from spice of life hermied on me. i have 5 F1s left. i should toss them but i keep forgetting. :)

i wasn't very impressed with white rhino from green house either. it was ok. i didn't pay for ok.

matanuska tundra from Sag. expensive seeds. the high sucked which really sucked because they were big and beautiful. and oddly enough, they looked a lot like the stonehenge which i also got from sag. loved the stonehenge by the way!

any of u guys try

TH Seeds- Heavy Duty Fruity
DNA- Rocklock
Barneys Farm- Blue Cheese
Dinfem- Diesel
I just finished harvesting a DNA Genetics Rocklock...I love the way it grows and the smoke is good , but it tastes weird...and I don't really like the smell...I like a fruitier weed myself and Rocklock is rather fuel-y tasting and smelling...Doesn't need too much though and can take about anything you throw at it...It is a joy to grow...and it looks nice and smells good to people that like skunky fuel-y weed, but I myself don't...so I like it and not like it...

My worst grow ever was Dr. Greenthumbs Cindy 99 fem. High Times raved about it, but I got light colored seeds, only half germinated and the ones I got were stretchy and had smal light buds. I have to admit they had a strong Mountain Dew smell that I was excited about, but the smell went away a couple of days before harvest and never came back in the cure.

Thanks for the info. I was just thinking about ordering some Medicine Man.

I grew a kick-ass indica a couple of years ago, CannaSutra from Delta 9 Labs. Some of it even found it's way to a famous rapper that was impressed by it. It was kind of stretchy for an indica, but I got a good yield out of organic soil.

worst strain i've grown was unknown. my friend ha some beans growing under his deck where we would throw them back in the days when we'd smoke commercial because of no medical laws. we transported them in the woods and they sucked.

the worst strain i've grown as far as knowing what i was growing was sweet tooth. i think it was from barneys farm but cant say for sure, it was a clone from some guy. dont get me wrong, the stuff was great, but not even a close comparison compared to strains like SLH, LA Conf, and some of these other newer much more potent strains.

the hardest plant i grew was some weird kind of purple kush. its a dwarf plant meaning it stays very short and has very little dense buds. its very nitrogen demanding, as much as plants 4-5 times it's size! stuff is very potent though. lot of my friends that been smoking for longer than i been alive say its one of the best they had. has a grape smell and a slight grape taste but also very harsh. i wish i knew where this was from as it was also from a friend. had to keep this one around though, fucking amazing.

sure it would be nice to have 3 $ beans...but cmon it is not like it is going to kill ya to get good genetics...lets just say you overpay and get 2 different strains ...5 seeds each...so ten beans for a total of 120$....that is 12 dollar a seed..lets say things go bad and half germinate so now you have 6.. six seeds to 6 mature plants range from 6 ounces on the low end to 4 lbs on the high end...even at 6 zips for 120$ investment ain't bad.

When your not concerned with yield because you don't grow for commercial properties, then yes $120 for a SINGLE VARIETY of cannabis is way way to much! Its not always the breeders fault, and I get that. They may indeed sell them to their close friends for pennies or sell them to a distributor for 2-3$ a bean. However, the majority of modern day breeders are not in that case.

Then there are breeders that sell for themselves and not to a bank for distribution. Take for example , Dr. Greenthumbs. He sells his seeds directly ( many others do) and to other distributors. The only person who gets a cut in price is the guy buying in bulk for resell. The guy who buys straight from him is getting robbed blind but can't tell from the miles and miles of shit covering their eyes :) Dr. Greenthumb's prices are a fraud IMO. As well as the likes of many other notable breeders.

It's people taking advantage of the current legal status of the plant for the most part. I mean $12 a seed....does that sound "compassionate" to you? Especially considering we are talking about sick people. The only reason the seed selling shit is tolerated at its level is because of the BULLSHIT ploy of the Medical Marijuana movement! I say that because EVERYONE has a right to this plant, and the medical path is not the correct path to freeing this species. It starts with the truth, not some medical clauses. This medical marijuana movement is only proving to bring more difficulties in the legalization and is only confusion and detering us from what SHOULD BE...More so, It makes me sick that this "medical" movement makes every other person that has anything to do with this plant a CRIMINAL...So,

Are medicines extremely expensive? Yup. Should "medical marijuana" be any different....YES, Because...I would LIKE TO THINK the people that are in the cannabis community are truly "compassionate", and not like every other dick fuck in the pharma industry...Only out to make a buck and fuck who they help! THAT, is the STORY of the SHIT WE SEE in the Cannabis Genetics Industry!
