would you live on mars? (video)

I'd go. But only in my sixties. Party's pretty much over by then anyways.
I'd fill my prison purse with seeds and grow some smoke that is truly out of this world.

This whole thread proves how little people understand what they're asking of us {those who are chosen} hypothetically speaking of course.

What started with a simple jibe could escalate into an free for all troll fest, something I thoroughly enjoy mind you but it's not something I would like to encounter thousands of miles away from nothing. Not to mention the fact that my very existence depends on these fellow humans, so we better get our psyches in check, there's absolutely no room for egos out there.
It'll be like nothing our previous experiences even the simulated ones have taught us, the reality of the situation is something we can only guess at and the psychological/physiological aspect is something few will have the fortitude to withstand.
This is something we as a species must do, because the earths resources are finite and with our collective moral out look our numbers will have depleted those said resources beyond recovery in the near future instead of eons away.
This is no video game, there are no respawn points and cheat codes are pointless.

Would I go? I would have to say yes but only if I had no children and had the next 10yrs to train and mentally prepare.

This in no way a slam against people here

I have no interest in space exploration if it were a matter of the earth dying or resources depleted , then i would just consider it my time to die :) being cooped up with the same people for the rest of my life would be a fate worse than death anyway.
