Ok.. so I planted these 3 clones in soil about a week ago.. they're looking great, with a good amount of new growth already.. BUT all the new leaves that have formed since I planted them in the soil have ONLY 3 blades!
What's going on? is this normal???

This is my first time dealing with clones, so I'm hoping this is normal.
Thanks so much!

i've seen this a lot but it usually on cuttings taken from a flowering plant. it usually straightens out after a couple of nodes. now i'm guessing stress, maybe?

Your plants must be a mix sativa indica breed.Your leaves show short fat indica but I see a couple really long slender sativa leaves.May just be an affect of the hrbed genes but will probably do as fdd said and go back to normal as it matures.I have had it happen to some clones over the years and it usually stops

Hmm.. As for stress, I guess it could be the whole cloning / transplanting process, but I don't think it should have stressed them out thaaat bad.. I mean every clone ever taken goes through the same process.:hump:

Also, this is happening to ALL 3 out of 3 clones that I have.. (all from the same mother).. it's kinda just worrying me a little. I'm planning on starting to flower these girls quite soon (within a week).. should this interfere at all with the flowering process??

I hope they start growing some normal leaves soon... I was up til 6:30am last night setting up another bulb in their tiny box.. now its 2x 42watt cfl (2700k) and their box is only about a square foot and about 2 feet tall.. they better be happy.. you cant even look directly in there without burning  your eyes... luckily they have 2 exhaust fans too

Hehe.. sorry about that.. you must have misunderstood my first post Garden Knowm.. "I planted these 3 clones in soil about a week ago".. I meant I planted the rockwool cubes into soil about a week ago.

I just want to THANK YOU all for the help on this topic and all my last posts.. I'm so glad I found RollItUp.org

PS - I think I'm going to be starting a grow journal for the flowering of these girls.. I can't wait to see if I could get anything out of my first grow
