I meet the Loaded Dragon last week and we are hooking up again today. Another local grower. This is my 1st "Rodeo" so to speak, and The Loaded Dragon has been a library of info, good to have his input. O ya, shove a flare ( be careful, dry weather) down that gopher hole and kill those bastards. The smoke that comes off a flare is very toxic, and will kill those bastards.

I don't think they are gophers. The hole was small, looked like the size of a quarter. I wish I had some snakes around. Not many this year. I did see the flares at the hardware store, I will look into them.

My backhoe is a 1960's Case Construction King 530. A very old piece of iron, seems i need to fix something every time i use it. It stays on the property, i cant afford to take it anywhere to work. Sorry Bro, i would luv to help out.

I'll get some pics of whats left. I will head up today or tommorow. This is my first outdoor and I made a lot of errors. My site is on a hillside so everything is done by hand. Next year I will be ready, I have learned a lot from tree.

I live down south and am trying to build a house this year if i can raise the cash. I stay in my trailer when up there. I also need someone to trim the top branches on two big oaks so I can get power to my well.

Thats cool , I thought I would ask. I should probably buy an old one myself. I have a seasonal creek and want to dig out this part that has a spring. I love it up here and could screw around on my property for the rest of my life.

Chicoles-
$8.99 All you can eat Steak and Sea Food buffet at Chucchannci Casino (spelling) tonight. Me and the wife went about a month or two ago.....great time, walked right in, perfect. I went last week, 1 1/2 hour wait/line to get into the buffet......fuck that, but the guest i was with wanted that buffet, so my wife and guest stood in line and i played Texas Holdem....won $80 , that helped the line go faster....lol.
50/50 chance i make it there (El Cids) tonight. Also the peak meteor shower was early this morning, but there should be showers still happening tonight.

Nice grow!! love it. This is a great thread for me since:
1. its my first grow. getting good info.
2. I live in the Valley below, weather is idenical....+5 to 10 degrees
3. I too am growing outdoors so I can follow along this simple song(sorry just smoked up and feeling groovy)

Hello Discgolfer-
Glad you came by. My daytime high temps are only 3-5 degrees cooler then Fresno. Close to 7-10 degrees lower at night though.
I will update some more photos soon.

My one big girl is going great. The gopher mix seems to have taken care of the bastards. I hope none of the birds have gotten to it. The plant is well into flowering and looking healthy. I will repost thepics when I have time.

I was in Raleys and surprised to see they carry the Fox Farm products I use. Times have changed.

Bad day on Bass lake. Boat broke down had to be towed in. Life is one thing after another. Blazed a hooter we call the terminator. Kush, GDP and the WW I specialize in, sprinkeled with hash. It was lethal.

Tree, I play a lot of hold em. Will talk about poker some day.

Thanks, It turned out fine, big gathering after tons of cousins and the grandkids, lots of love.

got to get back to the girls, I water by jug, I have a well but no power yet. They can go 4 or 5 days w/out water so I need to be careful.
