You know what I've learned in more than 10 years of arguing with the enemy...?

...They don't value facts, they don't accept truth, they ignore valid criticism, they rely on religion, they devalue human life, they perpetuate stereotypes, they demean minorities and LGBT's, they stifle progress, they adhere to the fictional 'American Dream', they hate the poor/middle class, they support Christian values, they oppose equal rights, they think they can win the American presidency with said values..

... That they'll always be the same..

I have learned that you consider Americans you disagree with. "The Enemy"

Islam doesnt accept the truth, they ignore valid criticism, they rely on religion, they devalue human life, they perpetuate stereotypes, they KILL minorities and LGBT's and any religious group OR SECT that disagrees with them, they stifle progress they adhere to the fictional 'Jihad', they support islamic values, they oppose equal rights and they think that you should convert or die.

Yet you have more tolerance for them than your neighbor.

Could you be the one with the problem?

The problem with political "solutions" is they aren't solutions, they are a never ending exchange. They are just a wrestling match over who gets to be able to tell others what to do.

Wouldn't it be better if you controlled your life and others controlled their own?

You sure like the word "they" it's an awfully big word it encompasses many groups.
Maybe you should have included hierarchy, The establishment , The ruling class , The powers that be , your next door neighbor or maybe just "The Tea Party". Who are your enemy's ?

I disagree with the majority of Americans about a lot of issues, but I wouldn't consider any of them the enemy
Yet you have more tolerance for them [Muslims] than your neighbor.
When have I shown tolerance towards any batshit insane religious belief, ever?

You're confusing my lack of criticism against Islam on this specific thread as tolerance for Islam, which obviously isn't the same thing. Islam, indeed all organized religion, is bad for society and should be criticized and should not be tolerated among civilized people.

Who are your enemy's ?
"they" are TEA party republicans, the evangelicals who hijacked the republican party with Reagan and his Christian cult. We need to purge all of those people and ideals out of American politics

Well, I don't see much difference between tea party republicans of today and the Nixon silent majority of yesteryear. Some of the stuff the tea party 'blicans say echoes John Birchers. This includes their tendency towards violence on people that outwardly reject their values. Gay bashing, cutting hippy hair, the war on drugs all happened in the sixties.

Yes to all you say. I'd also add; they gravitate to simple ideas, they speak in simple memes and reject complex arguments, they abhor science that conflicts with their cannon, they accept religion over science.
