When at home, I like a pipe or kiseru, but for concerts and stuff I like to use corn husk. I tried it out of desperation years ago, and never looked back. They burn so clean, with no what's coating my mouth feeling like most rolling papers. Actually, they even have a sweetish flavor when they burn. Has a kinda grassy sweetness, like how hay smells. The only real downside is they're a little harder to roll with, gotta use lots of saliva or tie 'em, but they're so good its worth it. They burn uber slow too... Well I guess the only other negative is you also look like a serious hippie (or redneck) when you bust out a jay rolled in corn husk... oh well.

I almost don't believe you but it makes a lot of sense. Sounds pretty legit. I may have to ask how you prep your husks and do certain types of corn husk work better then others? Interesting. Seriously if you handed me one I'd smoke it tough with you.

Give it a try, you can get them really cheap in those little mexican markets as tamale wrappers. If they have more than one brand, look for the thinnest ones. I'm kinda lazy, so when I roll I usually just cut them to fit in a TOP roller and they work just fine. Also, if the husks are too dry (like if they crack when you try to roll) you can mist them with a little water or lick both sides of the husk and wait a minute before rolling, it actually helps if you do this anyway, but it's not nescessary. Oh, and if you cant find a spanish market, you can just buy corn on the cob and use the inner husks (the whiteish looking ones, don't use the green ones they're nasty), but you have to cut them to size first and then dry them pressed between the pages of a book, otherwise they'll shrink up really bad and there's pretty much no saving them after that happens. They'll still shrink a little, but not much. The homemade sort is acually better, but unless you eat a lot of corn, they're kinda a PITA to make.

I love the cyclone cones as well but trainwreck is the best flavor
