NO BULLSHIT dont do it. Miracle grow vs Fox Farm

I didn't read the whole thread and correct me if I'm wrong, but it also appears that the Fox Farm containers were also bigger than the MG ones, so the test wasn't "all things being equal." I also read somewhere that you have to use the organic MG for POTTING, not just their standard soil. Just my 2 cents worth, which probably doesn't even equate

This is not a drill people... when i was running around first trying to get the best possible soil the fastest i went with miracle grow moisture control.... and after reading whether it was good or not i got tired of you guys going 50/50 on it so i put my own shit on the line to show you guys in a little home done experiment which is better... Now as you can tell i've done two different strains and the ones on the bottom or in fox farm and the ones at the top are in miracle grow at three weeks... SO LET ME SAY THIS AGAIN NO BULLSHIT DONT DO IT IF YOU VALUE WHAT YOU ARE GROWING, and obviously you do you are on this web site... just stay clear of the MG its bad for you
Are those form clones or from seeds?

i would donate $1 to see a good clone grow side by side mg vs FF the real truth
Doing it now, also with a pro-mix and a coco grow. Once done, will post pics and results. I'll let others 'pick' which is which.

Full FF grow, soil and nute. MG is in MG MC and nothing but water (and maybe some Epsom salt during flowering, this strain needs it)

All from same mother.

I think what's been missed here is the fact that you shouldn't be using any slow release chemical fertilizers- whether in soil or by itself- for the main reason that you can't control the N released when you start to flower. MG has little, light brown liquid fertilzer balls that break down slowly ever time you water and they in turn release their fertilizer. After 1 month of vegging, and another month of flowering- you'll find too much N still being released and this COULD delay or hinder proper flowering- depending on the strain your growing........... Fox Farm has an organic fertilizer that won't burn the plants or slow the flowering process.

And hence the reason for this forum...i figured all that out on my first grow and wanted to inform people with results rather than just opinion on what would be better...and its fun to hear from the other stand points of either its too expensive to buy high quality soil or its just not available where they are located so they resort to taking MG and mending in their own blends to make it work for them...and im all for that if you can beat the system of paying too much for soil but still are able to get what you want out of it then you are a far better grower for it and i commend you. but this is about producers of soil and what kind of quality products they are making for your plants health.

MG and FF both have good products....

some products from MG is not made for people who are ANXIOUSLY waiting for results or the ones who have babysitting issues with their plants, and end up killin their plants with too much LOVE and by smothering them to death...

if you want to do a quality test... get some expert growers to do it... because if you're not an expert, most likely, what you think you're doing right with MG, is probably wrong... look how many people on here have successfully grown with MG... how can you debate with those, that have done it.... this argument will go in circles forever, just for the simple fact, people who fuck up with MG will blame MG before they blame themselves.... stick with what you know and roll with it, don't try to change minds and influence others, because what works for one person, doesn't always work for the next

This isn't about fucking it up I'm doing this to show which product can produce a better product....For the shear fact that this can be shown with beer....Budlight=MG, FatTire= FoxFarm....the fact of the matter is Fox Farm has micro brewed their shit MG not so much....you can get drunk off both products but some just have more love in the making of it making it a better product...I'm just trying to show the difference in the outcome when using higher quality....it really has nothing to do with killing the plants they are still growing...Just not as well as the fox farm and i have the results to prove it ...and quite frankly You cant argue with results!!!!

Dude I live in colorado and go to their brewery all the time...those guys know whats up....they are completely worker owned so if the workers dont like it it just won't happen....some of the smartest people i know work there they've figured out ways to make it 98 percent energy efficient...for example the water they use to brew is also used to heat the floors and the building, completely wind powered i mean this is what the future of what business should be...for the greater good of all.

Fat Tire??? i havent heard of this... i enjoy some Shiner Bach or Zigenbach or maybe some Samuel Adams Irish Red, Bud Light isnt as bad as Keystone nasty crap it is, even though everyone thinks its so awesome cause its so cheap
You mean the metal tasting water...i just say no from now on whenever that shits around...i'm really picky when it comes to beer and bud for that matter...a Fun little fact though both the blue ribbon and keystone contain chemicals used to kill pests. A guy i know drank that stuff his whole life and by the time he was fifty he had no feeling in his arms and legs because the aresnic( or however you spell that) they use in small amounts had finally collectivley corroded his nerve endings. Becareful what you drink i guess

haha damn that is it, no more keystone for me even if its just for beer pong. i usually try to support local brewers from here in texas like Shiner Bach and what not, even though i have this thing for Budwieser Select right now. i got a weakness for Sam Adams too.

Shiner bachs one of my favorites my girlfriends dad turned me on to it and the whole story of how it came to be (whole buncha Germans in Texas) i like the after taste. But for my dollar im a New Castle fan...now to be specific you have to stay away from the six pack...they use those clear bottles and the light that shines through makes it skunky, but if you buy it either on tap or in a twelve pack you are sure to get a good one...mmmm its only one thirty i think i might have one
