I judge my harvest time on both the look of the plant and the trichs. Trichs look mostly cloudy with some amber and some clear. My preference would be to leave a little longer but without viewing pic of plant could not say for sure. If it smokes how you like it chop but your choice. Happy tokin.
Comon guys, ok there is a bit of stretch issue goin on but they are green and healthy all the same which means love and attention has been given. This is a first time grow so we should be givin encouragement and advice. Next grow sort the light distance out with good lights, don't grow as many...
lookin at the pics I think you've got at least 8-10 weeks to go till ready to harvest, it is not in flower at the moment. What are you doing to give a 12/12 light cycle if in conservatory? This time of year if left out it wont flower so you need to consider this.
I thought you shouldn't play around with auto's due to their auto flowering genetics and they should just be allowed to grow naturally. Not 100% sure though, not really looked into auto's too much. Cant really see the pic in enough detail to see what you have done.
When I sample mine I stick it in a fan assisted oven on low heat for a short while. Comes out dry and still gives a good hit but never as good as proper dried and cured.
I had a plant with similar growth to this, it did grow to harvest but it didn't yield well. Never figured out exactly what it was but seem to remember I put it down to having hot spots in the soil which my ph meter picked up and was only thing I could find wrong. May not be this though.
You have not mentioned how much longer you have left to harvest. If you have a way to go you will struggle to get any that are not affected. If about to harvest, as anzohaze stated. If you can smell it though sounds bad.
I'd say 400w is about min if using cfl's. But please consider risks. Smell, light, heat, security, humidity, dark period required etc. Do some further research if your not sure. Good luck.
