I dont know centimeters...

flower when these conditions are met....

2-4 weeks from seed
5-6 nodes
6-12 inches

These are general guidelines for keeping a plant short...as well as keeping your lights as close as possible...

These guidelines are not set in stone and can vary...

Good Luck

Look at what I did...

I sperate the buds as much as possible and keep as many big colas as possible and put them on plates for a week in a cool/warm dark place...

After a week they go into mason jars forever....making sure to frequently open and stir the buds around several times a day leaving it open a few hours and closed a few and back and forth...this stops mold from forming...

The whole curing process makes it taste and smell better...and even smoke better for a better high....after the first week or two in the jars they dont have to be opened as much....unless they are still for some reason damp...

Peace

Here they are 1 week 2 days old, they are some cute lil babies :-)
Hey Nirv, are those LR2's??? I started 3 LR2's 1 week 1 day ago and they are nowhere near that good. I planted 3 and all sprouted but only have the 1st 2 to 4 leaves. They have seemed to have changed in the last 3 or 4 days. My last try, of another strain, advanced like yours to this point. I'm getting worried. Also, are you using the AG nutes? If so, have you already added the sprout tabs or just the starter tabs??? Thanks for any help.

no they arent LR 2 just some random bagseed i had.
and yes i am using the AG nutes for now, i believe the starter and sprouting nutes are the same but ive only used the sprouting ones, (i germed in a bag and wet paper towel) not the starting ones, and at half strength at first and when i switch to the other nutes i will only use them at half strength, if i use them at all.
i also have added 2 flouro 18" tubes one high in blue and one high in red (from the petshop) with some old blacklight ballasts i had, i think that is helping to keep them nice and small at the moment, i am making daily ajustments tho.
and of course i added a 4" airstone in the res, i have th tube going through one of the pods in the back and duct taped in place, so i dont have to keep the res door open.
when i get some good batteries ill take pics of the whole setup :-)

I just got one and have just started the germ. process... Can anyone give me any immediate tips on how to have these darlings grow up big and tall like their Papa?

I've got three in, four taped over holes and have the AG set to Tom/Pep(I've been repeatedly told they're close to the same).... The two outer most holes and the closest to the mid have seeds, to allow the most light (I figure). I bought seeds from our local seed bank and have only used a third of one pill of nutes provided to start 'em off. Where do I go from here? Also I have the lighting set to go off at exactly midnight....

Whats up Tec, Looking good, I just wanted to drop you a line and let you know that my first grow of bagseed turned out great. Only yielded 7.2 grams dried. Not terrible for a plant that was cut early. I did take your advice and add lights similar to your setup. I also made a chain and pulley system for my light hood. As the plants grow I just raise the light to the next chain loop and up it goes. I used S Hooks rather than drilling holes. The hooks hook right on to the bottom of the hood and hang the light perfectly over the garden. I have not tried lowryder yet. Right now in my second grow I am using some dank clones from a buddy of mine, we have no clue what the strain is but its good shite. The last grow he had turned purple, i'm hoping I get the same results. I should have pics posted in a couple of weeks.

Tek,

Do you cut the fan leaves after you are a week or two into flowering. My plants are about 12-14 inches. I'm afraid to cut the huge lower fan leaves for fear it will cause them to stretch.
Any suggestions are appreciated.

You can cut off some of the lower fan leaves, Be conservative tho....

I usually do some fan leaf trimming at least once or twice troughout the grow...

Also, remember the leaves are what they use to breathe. I trimmed quite a bit for light, but later wished I had done less. I will not trim the ones on the colas or any that are directly connected to the sprouting buds next time.

Tek,

Here are the pictures I said I would post. Still can't determine sex yet. I'm changing the lights tomorrow. Would like to trim some of the big bottom fan leaves. What do you think.
I'll use a camera instead of the cell phone tomorrow & get better pics.

Peace, O2

These have been in the res AG 41 days now. Started flowering two weeks ago. Went to a mix of FF Tiger Bloom and Big Bloom one tsp. ea. per gallon. Six plants and still have not not seen any nuts signaling male sex. One is suspect but still cannot really tell. Added a SunBlaze 24" T-5 HO fluorescent fixture today with a mixture of grow & bloom lamps and removed the AG hood. Am using it to direct its light from the side. Grow so far has been very smooth with no crisis incidents. I have cut a few fan leaves maybe five. So far, so good.
Still waiting for the mylar to arrive in the mail.

Do not remove any of the fan leaves unless you want to stunt their growth. When the plant has used up the leaves energy it will naturally start to die off on it own. Leave the leaves alone as long as the leaves look healthy.
