I use abit less then they call for, this is a feeding sch done by another more experienced grower that has used fox farm alot. basiclly 1.5 tsp per gallon of grow big and tiger, and 1 tbl per gallon grow big, 1/4 tsp gallon for all three soluables, open sesimy beASTY BLOOM cha ching. i'm embaresed to say i dont know the size of my containers, but i feed them about half a gollon every three days or so, i wi;l; try to find the size of the pots, lol

Hello everyone,

I am such a fucking idiot.

So i have been having PH issues all groqw and decided to buy a ph pen last week, but the fucking douch i am, i forgot to use it. i mixed my nutes and just poured them on in. there was enough left after the fact to do a PH check on it, and it was 4.8, so i put some more plain water in at 7.0 exactly. i hope that corrects it abit.

I am such a moron.

how much nutes did you give em?!
just get some 6.7-7.0 ph water and flush thoes plants.
after that wait until they dry out real well and give em nutes again.

how long should i flush? next two waterings? or just next one? i gave them thier normal sche food according to fox farm, i dont think its enough to burn, but i would love to hear from someone useing fox farm to confirm or deny that.

You need pH up and a liquid pH test kit!

pH your feeding solution to 6.5 or so before watering!

A flush is in order! Only one should be neccessary.

I feed my plants as follows, remember I have GRADUALLY increased fert amounts over time:

3/4 TSP Cha Ching
2 1/2 TSP Tiger Bloom
1 TBLS Big Bloom

Per gallon.

Find out the size of those containers! It is critical so you know how much to water/flush.

Ok,

So i had to call my guy at the grow shop(good thing he has a good memory) and he assured me i bought 3 gallon pots. so that is what i am useing.


here is my feeding break down for this week, week 8, it changes every week


1 tsp>>gallon Grow Big
2 tsp>>gallon Tiger Bloom
1 tbl>>gallon Big Bloom
1/4 tsp>>gallon Beastie Bloomz
(I wont start useing Cha Ching till next week)


This is what i have fed them at a PH of about 4.8 i think. Then i gave them about the same amount of water after i realised with a ph of 7.0. That is what i have done to them today:cry:


On a happier note i decided to try another clone in conjuntion to the one i have started. The first one is still looking great, too early to tell on the second one.

Pics in afew hours, but i would love to hear back about what i have done


P.S i have ph up and down and a Ph pen thats reads the water, not the soil though. i should have got one with a censor for the soil

1/2 gallon of feed in a 3 gal pot sounds about right to me. How quick do they dry back out?

I really doubt you are burning them with that. If anything, its the pH issue. The flush should help. For a true flush in 3 gal containers, I would say at least 4 gallons per plant.

Others will say more.

If you pH your solution properly, and have lime in the soil, you might not even need to worry about the soil pH. I check it now and then when I remember, every 3 weeks or so. Its never been below 6.5 or above 6.8 on this crop. And I use the exact line as you. I just switched to Cha Ching last week. Wish I would have waited a week too.

i've been feeding with almost double you recommend, ouch, i'm a dunce, lol. they dry in about 3 days before i transplants but i think i gave too much before and it took like 5 days to dry last time. i qwill scale down to 1/2 gallon water. i will also give them more water to flush.

My vortex fan is 6' above the floor and about 3' above my plants, it's 177 cfm in a 4x4x8 room, 3x3x6 of which is being used, is this too high above or does it even matter?

The fan is just up there to get heat out of the closet correct? If that's what you are going for, I would say it is in the perfect place.

However a way to improve would be to get some ducting to get the fan to suck air from the back of the room, instead of close to the door. However, I'm pretty sure that fan is doing enough how it is.

EDIT: This may just be me, but I think if you move that shelf forward a few inches it would help air circulation up there at the top of the closet. I mean the white shelf, if you move it up so there is a few inches between it and the back wall. Then some of the warm air from below can flow up less obstructed. Does that make sense?

I should of mentioned this isen't complete yet, thier will be either a odersok or a carbon filter on the back inlet, and a 4" duct on the front pushing the hot air out of the room all together.

What your saying about the shelf makes perfect sense, i am just concerned that by doing so i will be constinly droping things off the back way( as i use this shelf for all my grow materials) i was planning on simple laying the carbon filter on the shelf , but your idea would maximize the filter by alowing to take air from the back and sides, so i dont know what way i should do it.

you are correct that this is just to try and exchaust the hot air.

I don't have experience with either, but I would go with the carbon filter (based on what I don't know). I'm going to use some activated carbon I bought at Petco, and thow it in some ducting.

About the shelf, I would just leave things how they are and how you planned, that seems easiest. You can just change things a bit if you need to in the future. As long as you aren't bolting a bunch of stuff down, making it permanent, then you can just adjust as needed.

One thing about putting materials up on the shelf, I don't know if you are keeping any nutrients, but some of them don't like being in heat. So it may be good to keep that elsewhere (if you keep it up there in the first place).

i keep my entire line of fax farm up there( which is expensive) i better look into thier heat tolerance. thank you very much, i never thought of that before

Isn't that organic? I would definitely think they wouldn't like that heat... or the light (i don't know how much the light spills up there).

Things like that usually enjoy cool and dark.

I totally wanted to keep all my nutes up above my stuff too. But I ended up buying a little shelf case thing from target to keep them all in.

So i wanted to keep updating on my clone because it is still early. I think it is looking good, i hope everyone agrees!

I also started a new clone, just for the fun of it, i fiqure if i can get three clones i got my next gropw ready as soon as my harvest is done, well after afew weeks veg!

Ps. The first four pics are the first clone, while the last two are of the new one

I'd say you look like you have been taking clones for a while now. They look good to me. I'm thinking of getting clones going now as well, so the day I cut things down I can start flowering a new generation.
