after trying dyna gro im switching back to advanced nutrients 2 part

wow looks like this is another example of how someone fucks up there plants and blames AN for it. scooby and alot of other people grow healthy plants with conni. mr green thumb were you that person that was asking me what AN nute you should start out with and i told you the sensi because conni was powerful stuff? not sure if that was you or not. i got some news for you your best friend homebrewer fried his whole crop at 700ppm using conni and you think you didnt fry your shit at 1100 ppm lol? if you dont believe me go read his comparison grow. some plants might be able to handle that but i would never start my ppm anywhere near that with conni. you cant give your plants the same ppm as dyna when using it. i just burned a crop of 3-4' plants with sensi at 1000 ppm alone never mind conni which people say you should use it at 50-75% strength compared to other nutes. people never learn. and yes if your shit crystalized you should of got another bottle and not started a grow that wasnt too smart. just to add dyna bottles crystalize all the time and people never show deficiencies when still using it
I can not talk to ignorant people who think plant burning starts at the top of a plant and causes marginal chlorosis. The proof is in the pudding. Any educated person can tell that those pics are not nute burn. Less than 700 ppm in flower? lol no wonder all the a.n flowers I see are puny. The more you a.n people talk the more ignorant you make yourselves sound

looks like we have another cult member on our hands theres no helping you anymore. why dont you ask your leader homebrewer what tds level he recommends not going above you know what that is? 650 ppm! isnt this the guy who you said gives good advice lol. tell that shit to him and not me. tell you the truth thats one of the only things i agree with him on. he fried a whole crop using conni at 700 ppm do you think im lyin? anyway whatever im just wasting my breath. i told you not to start off with conni lol

you speak with ignorance daniel son. I get my supplies online and dont bother to examine the bottom of a new unopened bottle.
Any half-brained twit at least shakes the nutrients before use and hears something going on in there. Even if it is opened, you can still get an exchange so stop bitching.

great guys now noticed the same thing in my dynagro bloom and yes I shake them but dealing with gallons is not so easy to tell what is in the bottom of the bottle. Dyna gro grow has nothing in the bottom. Never seen this with techna flora or g.h wtf is it and is it bad or not a problem

told you. and its a much bigger problem with dyna trust me. from the research i did a while ago its not supposed to affect the use of the nutes thats why i was sayin dont judge AN on this alone. i think your deficiency is another problem

You know this thread is entertaining. But with properly dialed setups and side by side grows with lighting, strains, different equipment and many other things, decent nutes
shouldn't make much differences in comparison. This is quoted from the great Heath Robinson himself: "Contrary to what the nutrient manufacturers want you to believe
they are pretty much all the same, I am using Vitalink on this grow but I also use Canna and Ionic which is the easiest to use as it is a one part nutrient."

I am not knocking a.n totally yet because I have not made it completely through a grow with only their products. But I will eventually. And probably more then one round than way I can with out a doubt conclude my decision on their quality or guaranteed higher yields. Im going to do everything in my power to get a successful a.n grow. But according to them "growing w/ their product is such a breeze."

My thing is I know I get great yields with dyna and am skeptical those flowers could in anyway possibly get any bigger but had to try a.n before I went posting on this thread about how good dyna has been working for me.

I am not trying to be a A.N racist just sharing the experience I am having with them and their product.

exactly dont judge it until you grow a healthy crop with it and if you think the plants get too big than give them less veg time next crop. you already see when using an the plants get alot bigger so less veg time is a big plus and that alone is an advantage in yield. if i were you i would start with a lower ppm too when using conni. its not like other nutrients its very powerful you should probably research how to use it by doing a search on different forums, you cant give all nutes the same ppm you have to dial it in

Fox far ocean forest/ pro-mix/perlite With advanced nutes ( jungle juice lucas fomula w/ big bud/grandmas molasses It works great for me, always looking for improvements though... Anyone else have any ideas to what I should use or not use? I have some Fox farm tiger bloom, grow big, big bloom, cha ching, beastie bloom and open sesame to but I have read that advanced is a better base than FF.

hey tree, just cruising back around again to see how things are going? Do you have any issues with the water temps in the apollo?
im glad you checked in willy cause i am having a couple issues i wanted to talk to you about. i do have some root rot with the system but this run i didnt have the proper ac to keep the temp where i needed it during these summer months. at the same time though when i feel the water it always feels warmer than the room plus its probably not helping when i keep the pump on 24/7. next crop im gonna have a second ac to make sure the temps are always in check plus im gonna use dutchmaster zone from now on. then worse case scenario im gonna change the pump cycle.

i consider that a minor problem but the main thing im not happy with is the strength the water shoots out of the sprayers on some of the extension trays. if you have some big root systems than that lightly sprayed steam isnt really getting to the upper middle of the root system. im basically saying i think the yield will increase if the sprayers spray with more force. im also afraid to put on a third extension cause i think whats gonna happen is the more extensions i put on the weeker the spray is gonna be. i had an idea of maybe switching to a bigger pump. im thinking a 3/4 horsepower instead of the 1/2 horse power it comes with. i found this flotec one

its kind of hard to tell but do you see the same size connections as the pump it comes with? i was actually gonna call the makers of the system in canada and talk with them directly about the issues im having as far as upgrading the pump and the leaks. theres also a small issue of water lightly spraying out the side of a couple of the trays when the root systems are small. i was told by a store that sells the apollo than you have to put weather strips on the side to seal it up. i dont really know how to do it

im having the same issues with the leaks in both the areas that you describe. I talked to James at Hesi about the issues and he said they were trying to get the bugs worked out. But i havent talked with them in quite some time to know if thats the case. I would put the weather strip to the bottom tray. Im not sure about your pump issues. I would think adding another set of trays would be ok. We have also been know to do some root pruning to help with the keep the spray somewhat uniformed. I would take a tape measure and measure the fittings from the original pump to compare to the pump at home depot. Let me know what you find out.

what is hesi? when did you talk to this guy james? i didnt even know you added an extension willy did you try using plumbers tape and silicon gel? by the time i connected everything and put the plants in it was too late for me to try this so im gonna do it before next crop. its hard to get a wrench in there and tighten that skinny plastic nut that attaches the extension you know

they dont carry the pump at home depot thats why i cant see the connection i gotta order it online. im gonna call qualiplast tomorrow or fri i really gotta iron all this shit out
