I believe that because you would vote for a man who plans to starve the poor.... That's not Christian at all and would make both of you hypocrites that hide behind faith

And 13 bucks an hour the government prolly buys your dinner most nights
Post a link to where he says he will end food stamps or medicaid.

A Christian helps those in need while also teaching them and giving them the tools they need to succeed.

I'm not gonna go Google shit for you to ignore it like everything else..... Ben Carson wants to end welfare and let charities provide for the needy .... Pretty sure last time I repeated this to you buck graciously provided that link.

But you ignore all this guys retarded shit because you both believe in God....

Medicaid does provide a valuable service. Having dealt with it, I know there are areas that need to be improved.

I can like one thing about the program and dislike another thing about it.
But, the price is right..?

-and-

How can you expect to elicit change when your voice doesn't count?

You're basically a stranger who shows up for dinner every night then complains when you don't like what's being served..because bible!

Guess what? There are plenty of believers who vote dem or Indy.

Again, I would like to point out that this thread was opened to discuss the debate and the interactions between the candidates.

Not sure why you feel the need to derail every thread.

It is a shame that all you want to do is slap labels on people and put them in a box marked "no good" just because they have differences of opinion.

I am talking about myself, not Ben Carson.

I have provided direct quotes of him saying he would not end those programs. Burden of proof is on you if you want to persuade me other wise.

You understand that a direct quote is different from a news article claiming he wants what they say he wants?

http://www.ontheissues.org/2016/Ben_Carson_Welfare_+_Poverty.htm

He wants those lazy ass welfare people to get a job.... He wants welfare to come from the church.... He wants lower taxes for the richest people on the planet...

Any one that thinks "government solutions" will solve YOUR financial, health problems and such is a real loser. Some of you really need to get a life....on your own.

I DO expect the feds to protect me and my family from hostile and internal interests which requires a strong LEO, military strength and balls.....the latter of which Obama is lacking.

Carson is sound with solid ideas. Govt. programs like welfare keep people down, keep them dependent. But, as long as it buys votes for the Democratic party, so what? Hope and change.......yeah.....right.

Come on Pie. You have been here long enough to know that EVERY thread in the politic section can go anywhere in conversation. This thread actually is staying pretty close to topic with a discussion of why Carson is not a good vote if you are on medicaid or receive food stamps or any form of government assistants. For that matter any Republican is a bad vote if you receive government assistants. I'm a registered Republican, but I would never vote for any of these clowns in the general election because I care about people less fortunate than myself
