Thanks tt. I feel that the lights are what made the real difference, way more watts and better PAR. My plan it to put more focus this time on drying and curing. That plant you see hanging in the closet was my one bulb experiment, lucky to get a gram from it LOL.

Top your plants at the beginning of bloom to get more yield.

First plant was put into drying cabinet on Day 60. It was ready for jars this morning so I cut all of the buds off and weighed them. Looking at the pile I guessed 18g and my wife guessed 32g. It came in at 20g plus some meager small leaves and cutting that were left on the cutting table. Was enough for a small j so I smoked it. I found it was quite impressive and I sure wish it was not unknown bag seed. I would definitely grow that strain again if only I knew what it is.

Nice! You can always try a re-veg of the plant if you get something you want to keep, before chopping the whole thing of course, lol

If you really like it, just name it anything, and grow it again. I did Bag Seed Testers 1 & 2 last year. Did some crosses and named them according to their growing situation. Little Sister, Peach, Rotten Stinking Bastard and Prickly Pear are BST2 crosses and Hurricane Head FP and Hurricane Head GN are BST2 X BST1 crosses. But the longest lasting impact might be from the BST2 male, Big & Stinky. Now I have B&S X CP1 and Powernap X Sinmint Cookies X B&S X CP1.

This what I am hoping for. I suspect the tall one is a CBD strain. If I smoke some testers and get nothing but a relaxed body with no head high I know I am on track. Of the three left it is the only one that has enough leaves left to consider a reveg.

I like the way you think, works for me. I am going to call this one KHG (kickass home grown), or maybe KGB (kinda good buzz). LOL

Time for you to start learning the art of cloning. If you'd taken a cut of that plant, labeled it and set it aside, you'd have your wish.

I have made 2 attempts to clone so far with no success. I am not to concerned about bag seed plants, those attempts where just part of the experiments. I have learned from my mistakes and I feel I can achieve success once I have the setup and technique worked out. My short term solution to cloning is to get a terrarium setup from a small fish tank with a lid that has a light. I definitely want to get it to work out for the Blue Harley so I can keep trying for some nice CBD phenos. Thanks for your input, it is always appreciated.

Good run Zoic,
Thanks. Since I have both a male and female of the Blue Ripper I could easily make some seeds of my own this run. I am still on the fence but there is still time I believe.

That is awesome Zoic.
I am glad to hear you started cutting them down. I have started cutting down the top layer of buds today. Took about 15 just tops and have about 25 left. So far I have 131 grams wet. Should be around 32 grams dry according to my calculations. If you multiply your wet weight by .25 you will get a close estimate or, so I am told. Here are some pics of her the day before I chopped. I love 45 day flowers.

I know I could have waited longer but, I was looking for more THC (cloudy/Milky) and less or no CBN (amber).
Can't wait to hear what you get from the other bigger plants.

Thanks Love. Final count on weight now that it is all dried and cured.
18, 17.2, 16.7 and 14.5. So a little over 66g, not including testers and cuttings.
Now that I have improved soil, lighting , environment and technique I feel I can really get a decent yield from my GSC bag seed.

Thanks ttystikk. It looks like Round 3 will be even greater. Now that I have learned so much good info I hope to really go for it in Round 5 (soon to be started), then after that a lot of focus will be put into CBD strains. I have 3 such strains in Round 4 which is being flipped to 12/12 today after I pull some leaves to create some clones..
