Some ppl may argue this but yes you should worry about crowding. It stresses out the plants and forces them to grow up. On top of the fact that you didnt 100% light proof your room, extra stress is the last thing you need. I just dont want you to run into any sort of hermie situation. Onto the positives, dem are some mighty fine looking plants, so short and bushy, its perfect. The fan leaves are also getting large, allowing them to suck up more light, allowing the roots to drink more and more nutes. Also if you have no fan in there that is a must must. Also what were you looking to get a carbon filter for? I like the side lighting to get into the inner nodes, thats the nice thing about cfls, you can get dem suckers really close.
We fixed our light leak and yes we have a rotating fan in there.

we need the carbon filter cus were in an apartment and don't need any neighbors smellin our crop. plus we need an exhaust fan so it no harder to attach a filter to the end.

very good idea man i use computer fans and scotch brite towls and i get activated carbon and make a pillow case kinda out of the scotch towl and put the carbon in there fill it up and sew it up and put it over your exhaust fan and when it stats to let smell out just step on it or use a hammer and lightly break up the carbon or make another they are cheap. you can get what u need at wal-mart

Awesome grow! Reading your grow journal gave me hope...my plants looked a lot like your early on, and they are just now starting to take off. I just updated my grow journal. Good luck here on out!

Ill be honest with you. I'm doi g the same type of grow but I am using just 1 cfl grow light with a reflector I picked up at the hardware store. I think you are burning those plants. Try backing off the light a bit. You really have to watch the heat build up from the lights. Also add a fan to disipate the heat. Good luck

our heat is cool and in the pics you can see we have a fan on them. and we seldom get burn spots only if we forget to move the lights for a day or so.
Thanks for lookin out tho.

Thanks pit, i love hearing compliments about our girls:)
