And what if I I applied the thermal paste badly? For example. It should draw the same wattage but the output would be different. Or not?

As long as you royally didn't screw anything up, output won't change much. You won't have a "value" to attempt to meet. Every setup with be slightly different regardless.

I am worried for human error, like thermal paste and... I can't think at any other possibility..
Just spread the paste thin. Not much technique here. Look up any Thermal Grease CPU youtube video if you have any doubts.

On a side note, I killed my first seedling. I think the Fox Farm Ocean Forest might've been a little too hot, ugh. Now I gotta wait a month for more seeds to get here. Huge bummer.

If anyone feels generous, feel free to send seeds my way :D I'll return the favor when mine get here.

Will get some Happy Forest for the next run.

Hi kobkits, i have a question about config panel led.

I have 3 and more later 4 space of 0.60x0.60 mts = 0.32m2 so i want diferents config to compare in my indoors.

i want use 5 or 6 led cobs vero 29 7 gen 3000k cri 80/90, i have a dude i read the diferences between the cri, is correct this?
CRI90= faster flowering, maybe due to the emerson effect, but less nodes, shorter branches, bigger leafs, less yield and more stretch.
CRI80= longer flowering, more nodes, better branching, more yield, less stretch, smaller leafs.

So in sog is more better cri 90?, have nodes more short? more compact?, or is more better 80. All 3000k, i use for all cycle.

in others space i want know what do you recomend for me, i read about new Samgung leds and law are that good but i don't know anything on these.

And citizen how is more better horticulture or 1818?, That are at the same level than cobs veros 29 7 gen.

Sorry for my english, and for Annoyance

I I been speaking it Jerry dude I'm not really trying to go to Jerry hes got cxa3070. 17cash. Cxb3590 29$ vero29 20$ but i dont no about jarry
Jerry is reliable if you want cree.

the $17 cxa3070s are about equivalent to the $10-$12 citi 1212
the $20 vero 29D and $29 CXB3590 are both a little below the $17 luminus cxm22 in efficiency

you can buy arctic64 heatsinks from newegg.com for $10 or less.

you just have to drill and tap them.

any of the arctic 64 can handle 100W, but if your fan goes out your chip is at risk. fans are pretty good, wiring can be a limitation, take your time and do strong, neat wiring and you'll be fine

any chip i have on the site is better than 3050, some are as low as $8-9.

if you really want crees, im sure 3050 are fine and will work well

There are a total of 2 of the 10 dollar chips in stock, and 10 percent off 10 dollars anyways would make it 9, not 8-9. 9 is a good price, and if that is what cobby is referring to, that is fine, but I thought he might have meant some other chips.
