I just dislike the fact they are saying they will send you lm561c s6 and then send you something else.

I never said they were S6...

I never really gave any specs other than I claimed they were fake LM561C's...no one has even cared to ask what Kelvin they are...

I was speaking about my personal experience with Alibaba, sorry if it seemed like it was directed at what you said.

People try to scare you into buying from the source instead of from their friends. Misery ;loves company. Great job. thanks for sharing.

Heres my diy fake led with my fake plants. 1485 wall watts actual draw. Got a 500w and 600w power supply with blurple 485w draw. But where i am its frowned upon to grow your own medicine. So i guess its a good thing its all fake.

I'm no expert by any means but your lighting setup screams fire hazard to me with those drivers hanging in the air and duct tape holding the frame together.

Duct tape was added cause i dont trust pvc cement. So should i lay drivers down on top of the hot lights or lay down on the floor with the fake plants?

I thought the steel cables with screws holding them up was a good ideal ... More air flow all around and no chance of water. Guess i should have stuck them inside a bucket of water in case they catch fire. Hopefully it doesnt mess with the gfi circuit i installed before hooking it all up.

Time tells all. So nice to meet a pro though.
What he means is that power supply is only 86% efficient....meanings you are throwing away 14% of your power through thermal loss/conversion.

The reason I run a Meanwell HLG-600H is that they are 96% efficient.

And careful not to over drive the cheap Chinese power supplies....I have a stack of them that gave up the magic smoke when I was pushing them at 49Vdc

While more air flow is correct you have a higher chance of water getting in your power supply as it is, your drivers are not fully enclosed. Grow tents are very humid environments usually and one should be careful about the electronics they keep in a humid grow tent. My advice would be to mount your drivers outside of your tent so they are in a less humid environment.

nc208 is not lying....there is a reason why you should use ip67 rated power supplies in the tent....ip00 is a nice way to start an electrical fire in a high humidity environment.
