Thank yah Pitt, she's growing about an 1" a day since the res change, now about 13"

Though I am having some issues getting my PH to not drop off in too short of a time, was wondering if anybody would care to give some insight on this?

I have read pythium, other bacteria, and hydroton to be the biggest culprits.. but roots are good, temps stay within range, and I wash the medium before/after use.

The only other thing I think it could be is light getting through the totes...

Brother Scotch If This Is Your First Run Or Second Run With Hydroton It Will Cause You pH To Do Some Fluctuation.Once Seasoned Your pH Will Stablize Out.I Also Have Noticed That Certin Sativas Under Leds Needs To be pHed Higher Than Indicas.I Start My Sativas Out Around 6.0-6.20 and Let It Drop As To Indicas I Will pH To 5.50-5.80

Thanks for the input Dawg, Ill keep an eye on the kiddo's. Ive ran this batch of Hydroton a couple times.. have ziploc bag full of stuff I just wash and recycle through... but has anyone boiled Hydroton, or does this cause it mess some shit up..? I could see it going both ways.. lol. BOOM!!! *..mushroom cloud..*

Luckily my SLH ph was sitting at a sweet sweet 6.2 when I had gotten home tonight, the Tangerine Dream's ppm rose by 30, and ph stayed steady for a full 12 hours... worried Im going to see a deficiency, noticed a couple rust spots towards to the top that I had not noticed before.

Did a couple things as well,

-took six clones from the TD, topped off with about a 1/2 gallon of RO
-LST'd the TD a bit more, tuck fan leaves, and FIM'd it- 13" tall. May be topping.
-added 130ppm of Gro to the SLH, puts it @ 260

Maybe with the combination of physical abuse it's not going to take up as much, ie def?

Hey guys, been a little busy with the hospital visits and such- but we have a lot going on, so....

The Tangerine Dream is struggling after it's recent FIM'ing and cloning, two clones had dried up and I pitched them- heater I was using blocked the bubbles... fuck... it's always something small that I overlook, other four look solid so far.

The TD is drinking too much water and not as much nutes as before, and yellowing progressively. Looks like a Cal deficiency, but the ppm's are rising from 630ish, to 670 this morning, to 700 now- about 14 hours later. Some spots, and burnt tips to go with it. So I am thinking it cant handle the amount of CalMag with the recent manicure, or maybe the batch of nutes altogether.

So I am mixing up a new batch as we speak with 7ml Cal/Mag (170ppm), 9ml DynaGro (440ppm), and 3.5ml of Ph up to give me about 640ppm. Going to bring it to temp and swap.

The SLH are kicking some ass, looks like I have two different pheno's to work with- love this cus I want that just right pheno, was even thinking about ordering 10 more seeds with my next order..

Does anybody know how stable SLH is, pheno variations, etc?

Havnt checked their nute's stats yet but will edit this post shortly with em and pictures for some input.

EDIT: Noticed from my little book, that I had not lowered the ppm's itself, just the Cal/Mag- I may end up diluting the solution a bit more in the morning if it doesnt "perk," like they usually do.

The Tangerine Dream has grown a bit, sitting just at about 14" with the return of the faint "green" smell in Narnia, thinking it's appreciating the recent love and bouncing back- the Calcium spots matured and darkened, but nothing spread and the leaves are starting to perk back up quite well.

The Right SLH has a tid bit of yellow tips on the leaves, though I think they'll be juuuust fine- the Left looks great, beautiful shade of green.

Ph is still dropping off quickly (TD), but am not too worried about it- roots are easily the same size as the plant itself and white as fuck, so no pythium, thinking the tote is too small, causing the flux.

PPM- 620
PH- 5.5
*'s- 70.6

Adjusted to: (1.5ml Ph Up)
PPM- 650
PH- 6.1

Well, it is about that time, isn't it?

So far so good every body, just waiting for the A51 release- shit is
getting tight in Narnia, my failed FIM attempt slowed the vertical
growth a bit, but it's speeding back up with it's three apical stems.
Wondering if Jeff would be willing to accept preorders so they could
ship as soon as available.

Several lights are in order, at least two of the new "AF-135's" (170w models) for flower, and maybe two Vipar's to replace my ProGrows, or four of the 2013 -135's; havnt quite
decided yet, have a couple more questions for A51 before I commit some
serious change.

The Tangerine Dream, 6 weeks as of Friday, is kickin' it; sitting at about 14", 3 main stems, decent side branches from the LST- pretty
excited to start flowering this lil bush. It has recently start drinking
a shit ton more water than nutes and throwing my ppm a little over 700-
tossed in 3 liters of RO and cut it down to 480ppm, 6.1, 60*

The Super Lemon Haze, just @2 weeks as of Friday, is just awesome.. I am already in love with these lil
tykes. Have two different pheno's but seem to be okay with the same
regime, so far. Even with their small roots- theyre taking in everything
they can; taking the ppm down to half of the original mix, time for a
change. Took it to 310ppm (140 Cal/Mag), 5.9, 61*

2-17-13 V.JPG2-17-13 VIII.JPG2-17-13 VII.JPG2-17-13 VI.JPG

Keep in mind all of these are "cold start" temps and ppm will rise a bit as
the temps do. I do not always have the time to preheat my water as it's
outside- I do take my temps up to about 69-71 within 4 to 6 hours.
They'll live.

I was curious what I was pulling on my electric bill running both of my ProGrows so I have set up my Kill-a-Watt meter on Kw/h to see what's going on.

[h=1]Super Lemon Haze Cannabis Strain[/h]

A hybrid of Lemon Skunk and Super Silver Haze and two time Cannabis Cup winner from Greenhouse Seeds. Super Lemon Haze is a kief-caked multi-colored wonder. As the name states this strain has real lemony characteristics. The smell is zesty, citrusy, and a little sweet. As for the taste, it's everything one would expect from the namesake; tart and sweet like lemonheads candy - not quite as sharp as one might expect. The effects are uniquely energetic and lively, may not be the best strain for those of us that are naturally wound-up tight.
