So he had 34 shots then.
Hmm weird, all the facts say he fired 31 shots. Why reload when you have at least 2 more shots to fire, and if you were smart you had 3?

In the interest of fairness, here a DA report from last fall, that has the AR-15 in the class room and the shotgun in the trunk.
The following weapons were recovered in the course of this investigation: (1) a Bushmaster
Model XM 15-E2S semi-automatic rifle, found in the same classroom as the shooters body. All
of the 5.56 mm shell casings from the school that were tested were found to have been fired from
this rifle. (2) a Glock 20, 10 mm semi-automatic pistol found near the shooters body and
determined to have been the source of the self-inflicted gunshot wound by which he took his own
life. (3) a Sig Sauer P226, 9 mm semi-automatic pistol found on the shooters person. There is no
evidence this weapon had been fired. (4) a Izhmash Saiga-12, 12 gauge semi-automatic shotgun
found in the shooters car in the parking lot outside the school, and which was secured in the
vehicles trunk by police responding to the scene. There is no evidence this weapon had been
fired. (5) a Savage Mark II rifle found at 36 Yogananda Street on the floor of the master
bedroom near the bed where the body of the shooters mother was found. This rifle also was
found to have fired the four bullets recovered during the autopsy of the shooters mother.
All of the firearms were legally purchased by the shooters mother.

Buck thinks that a 10 round magazine will limit you to 10 shots, but anyone who knows anything about guns knows you can get more than 10 shots out of pistol with a 10 round magazine.

every time i shoot my 10th round from my sig's magazine i throw the gun downrange, cuz you cant put a new mag in.
it's just not possible!
and you cant hurt anyone with the first 10 rounds, those are set on "stun" only the 11th bullet and higher can commit crimes.

They are pretty reliable. Not like a SIG P226, HK USP or a CZ P-01 reliable, but reliable enough for LEO duty.
