First Indoor Grow

Hey all!

Just wanted to share my first indoor grow. I currently have three plants under a 300w Viparspectra LED light (I went a little crazy and should have only grown 1-2 plants given the size of my tent and power of my light but it seems to be working out. Next time I will be sticking with one!)

There is a Chocolope Kush in the back left, a Diamond OG in the back right, and a Grape Crush front right. All have been topped or fimmed a few times and tied down. I have been feeding them with only Medi-One until second week of flower where I introduced Big Bud into the regime. I am currently on day 19 of flower and the Chocolope seems to be doing the best. Kind of hoping it finishes earlier than the others so it will free up some space for a few weeks.

Let me know what you guys think or if you have any questions! I’m really new to this and constructive criticism goes a long way!

I have the 300 watt vivarspectra. Seems like a good blurp. I have another 300 watt no name blurp. So 240 actual watts. I only have one plant in tent. I was told it takes around 50 watts per sq ft. Your plants grew nice under the one light.

Thanks! I plan on adding a bigger tent for flower in the future and maybe a 450w Viparspectra.

Cool. Yea It didn’t take long for me to realize that my tent was too small. It’s lst down to about 9.5-10 inches. I am hoping it just doubles in size at the most. If it tripled then I’m screwed. If I have to I will buy a 6ft tall tent and switch it over.

Have you considered continuing to top it and tie down? Or even removing any unwanted bud sites? I’ve had to do some major maintenance to keep them in line but still had trouble

I’m afraid to top and defoliate. First grow and all hehe. I only have one little bud site that might not make it up to the others so maybe I will take it off later. My scrog is jacked. Apparently the net isn’t sturdy enough and the main cola laughed that shit off. I’ll remember that next time. Your plants look good though man. It’s good to see a new grower like myself succeed.

Lmao yea if the wife is ever looking for me the garage is usually the first place she looks. It’s frickin hot out there though man.

I had the same problem during veg when I had 3 plants now only have one because other two where male but if you used more then one light in veg like me I use my weaker lights as side lights to make sure everything has light hitting it

Yeah it’s hard not to get ahead of yourself when you have a bunch of really nice seeds nd you’re excited haha. Initially had 8 seedlings which were all supposed to go outside but then I decided to give a few away and get a tent since our spring weather was terrible and crops were dying everywhere. Ah well, live and learn!

Hairs are turning orange on the Chocolope! She’ll be ready for harvest pretty soon. Starting her flush in 5 days.

I haven’t quite yet decided what I’ll do with all of those sugar leaves. I’ve been thinking about making an edible oil, although I haven’t done much research on the best methods.
