Yes I should move to Amsterdam. First I’m gonna move to the east coast for a while and give all my stuff away to relatives, then head on over the pond.
excellent idea!

I took off my scrog screen, put on some gloves , got on my knees and back and dove into Dakota to investigate and explore her anatomy and structure. What I discovered was a tangled twisted uncontrolled suffocating lady who needed some tender loving care and direction.

I carefully moved her branches apart and removed some unnecessary leaves . Now she is more open and has better air flow and and I have a clearer cleaner picture of her branch directions so that I can direct the flowers into their appropriate positions much easier. Took me over an hour to complete this process and it was a lot of fun!

Picture below is after separating all branches apart and resetting the screen down. Now I can clearly see each flowering bud.

Looking beautiful. Are you planning on lollipopping or pruning once it's done stretching?

Hi LG! I hope you had a wonderful weekend! Thank you so much. I plan on removing all the lower leaves and small branches that I feel are not a benifit and areas not being hit by light under the scrog screen. I took my hands under and into the plant and gentle pulled the middle section down to expose the place I topped and where the 2 maim branches are growing in opposition. The idea of a good scrog is to pull the plants branches horizontally not to act as a Skelton framing the branches and I am really trying to make that recovery from my FIM job and her severe stretch as a seedling. I found a really good article that describes how to scrog properly and as soon as I am done with this grow I’m popping a Blue Dream and gonna do it all right from the very start.

Nice. I made the mistake of not pruning or really doing anything when I grew NL. I was so afraid of getting a hermi from stressing the plant. Now I go in like a weed wacker making sure the light can penetrate as deep as possible.
There are so many interesting techniques that can be applied.
I liked to experiment when I grew many plants. Scrogging is very satisfying for me. I can interact with the plant on a daily basis with tucking and pruning.

currently here I’m at
Day 10 Flower.
She was popping her flower heads all out the screen so I tucked everything back under to the next possible square.

gotta give them lower flowering buds more visibility and light and keep the stretch going as long as possible.
I would like to fill the entire screen .
at this rate it might be possible.

I love the big fan leaves under the screen . They are very aesthetically pleasing.

Blue dream can grow very aggressive especially right after the flip

That's insane, think it's the LEDs? The strain? I've seen some pretty big fan leaves but that is ridiculous, and only what 6 weeks from seed? if the buds match the fan leaves, you might get 10 lbs off that plant o_O

I think it’s the light but it might’ve the strain. That’s a hard call! Yes only 6 weeks from seed and she is eating like a hog. Eating up to 1 and 1/2 gallons a day! I’m around 800 PPMs and keeping a nice rich green color. That would be totally rad if I could pull a pound off this monster.... I would be tickled pink.
Today she has presented the most even canopy I have had so far, filling in nicely I the middle and massive branches on the outside.
Thanks for the positive vibes my friend! Have a wonderful weekend!
Looking fantastic Dr. Amber I’m impressed man. She’s about to haul ass now.
Thank you so much master Scottyballs, I love to hear such positive feedback from you. It means so much to me. Thanks you for such positive vibes and it’s always a pleasure to see you stop by for a visit!
I wish you all the best!

I now have a new helper to assist with pruning the bottom leaves off.

:o I've had that happen to me during scrog training, some plants just Can't be persuaded to grow a certain way and need to be forced :wall: but now you know the branches are weak at the nodes.

Super cropping is a good low stress training method that I use a lot to help get the canopy as even as possible, and sometimes to control rogue growers. My grow from last year, I remember having 3-4 colas that were growin like 10+ inches taller then the rest so I kept super cropping the bastards to reel em in, and the underside of my screen looked like something mc escher would do. Had to pinch and tie em in crazy and unnatural ways.

Still looking AWSOME! I've never seen a perfect hydro grow from start to finish, and As far as problems go that's not that bad.

Thanks GoLdD. I have done super cropping before and so after seeing that I just snapped the very top of that massive branch and saw it was not broken off but about a perfect 1/4 top brake not bad. It’s gonna get a huge knuckle and make that branch even stronger.
Yeah those rouge long colas are fun to try to tame. Sounds like that was one wild beast you had . What strain was it? Was it a sativa dominate?

Bruce Lee gonna give Chucky a beat down for that snap.

Those nodes are so close together.
Yes indeed. She is quite complicated up top . buds everywhere very close . I took a lot of lower small worthless buds, branches and leaves off under the screen. It’s a huge job and can get very complicated under there in that densely packed branches area.

Last grow was my first and probably last auto flower grow, auto white widow by Dinafem. I'm a big Dinafem fan boy, I'm growing their photo period OG Kush currently. I had a number of issues with that grow, but the stretch on her was unreal. She would have been atleast 6 foot tall without scrog and multiple rounds of super cropping. I would have topped and fim'd if she were a photo but I didn't think I had the time in veg to do that, cuz ya know the whole auto's grow small and fast thing. She did neither, took over a 100 days, mighta been due to all the super cropping, I also had a bad case of pythium which probably slowed her down as well. But in the end the smoke was harsh and the high was pretty mediocre, the only saving grace was I got 11zips that after 2 months cure wasn't terrible. that grow was a comedy/tragedy. That's the biggest downside for growing one plant at a time, every once in while I'll do a bad grow, or get a bad pheno but after a few months of growing I'm committed to finishing. But it isn't even close to all bad, I've had some amazing grows in terms of both yeild and quality, so now I'm really excited about OG Kush bongsmilie
