Need help diagnosing

I have a few plants that I am concerned about.

1 - Out of 4, one seems to be just fine...so far....
2 - One of them has twisting leaves and skinny leaves where there is new growth, which might just be normal for this plant, not sure.
3&4 - The other two have similar issues, they both have been slow growing from seed, they are very light green despite being in the same soil and having been fed the same amount of nitrogen as the other two. Their leaves show what looks to me to be magnesium and/or phosphate deficiency. From what I have read I am also suspicious that their may be a zinc deficiency as well.... but I decided I would get some advice before pumping a bunch of crap into my soil.

I am sorry I took pictures with the LEDs on, I didn't want to turn them off and I'm in a hurry to get advice so I can get any nutes I might need ASAP. Will take pictures tonight when lights go off if it will help.

#1 - No issues here.

#2 - New leaves/top leaves are skinny, some are twisting. Stems are purple. This is a different strain than the other 3 though, something to keep in mind.

#3 - 4. Both light green, both showing the same deficiency which I assume to be phosphorus, but could also be mag/zinc as well.

Any input greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Calmag defiecency caused by led lighting being too close.

Easy fix up your Calmag normally double for the next few feeds and lift your lights.

Purple stems and brown blotches are tell tale signs.

ah man if you are right about this you are awesome. I'm gonna try that out. I dosed them for the first time with some calmag just the other day. I haven't grown in a couple years and I'm just getting back into the swing of things. Haven't really fed them much of anything so far besides some EWC tea and the nutes I mixed into the soil when I transplanted( 5-5-5 fertilizer, and some fish bone meal at the very bottom of pots)

I've been keeping the lights 13 inches above the plants, so that's too close eh?

The whole plant sagging you ain't over water to have you?
If anything I have been underwatering them. I used to water my plants every 2-3 days at this stage of growth but a buddy told me I was overwatering at that rate and so I have been watering once a week. This week I watered twice within a few days because I wanted to get some calmag into the soil ASAP.

so cal mag seemed to help all but the 2nd plant.

Looks to me like a definite phosphate deficiency. I have some fish bone meal, can anyone tell me the best way to water this into the soil?

Definitely Calcium deficiency, Magnesium deficiency, some slight nutrient burn from over fertilization (not bad though, yet) and over watering.

water when you feel the pot is light man

What makes you say you have a "Phosphorus" deficiency? I don't see that in the pics you posted. Could just be the pics though.

What medium are you growing in? What is the pH of your nutrient mix you're giving the plants?

Im growing in roots organics soil. All i have to test my water/soil ph is one of those color tests and it shows 6.5/7 ish.

I say phosphorus because of what i read on that page. Seems identical. Entire plant has red stems.

I know nothing but if i had to make an assumption i would assume this plant is some how lacking gentically. None of the other plants have this going on. The first plant has some reddening on stems but nowhere near the extent of the second plant. I cloned all the other plants with no issue as well but the ones i took from this one wouldnt even root.

Idk. Im new to using nutes altogether as well so im sure i havent been giving them everything they need. Trying my best with ewc tea and topical 5-5-5 fertiliZer every other week.

I still don't think it's P def. If it's there, I don't see it. The first picture with the black tip looks more like burn, like the tip next to it.

I had already pulled the leaves that look most like the pic in book. But it could be nute burn. Idk though. Only nutes I’ve fed is the 5-5-5 put on top layer of soil one time. And then the calmag in some ewc tea. Once 4 days ago. One or two waterings with ewc tea prior to that.

Idk. I’ll continue with the calmag I guess and maybe factor in some fish bone meal somewhere Incase it’s p deficiency ?

I just watered this thing 2 days ago. Yesterday it was all perked up and happy and now this morning it’s like this.

Could it need water again? I only gave it a gallon. It’s a 7 gallon pot. That couldn’t have been too much could it?

did they perk back up?This pic looks like maybe not enough water because they aren’t shriveling like they would if you were overwatering

Yeah it was not enough water. I was watering every other day or every two days and I realized it just wasn’t enough for the bigger plants. So o started watering each plant with half gallon almost everyday. Just to keep them wet without over doing it. Now I kind of just wait till they wilt a little and water them. I feel like that’s better than going with a set schedule.

Been too dressing them all with nutrients and they seem to be doing very well. Maybe I’ll post pics tonight when lights come on. I’m curious as to much I will get altogether from just these 4 plants. I have never put plants into flower at the reccommended time I always have grown them out longer and bigger. I’ve never used a trellis net though either. I’m hoping for a lb altogether but my rational estimation is about 2 oz per plant. Maybe 2.5/3.

What are your temps ?
Led grows often need more ambient heat ( 80 to 85° ) to keep plant transpiring and roots warm.
Cold root zone makes unhappy plants , wilting.

not using anything for run off I just don't water enough to cause runoff, and if I do the plants usually suck it back up right off the floor. I hate spending 10 dollars on those piece of shit saucers that always crack anyways.
