Absolutely. My outdoor experience has applications to this that will definitely help. But just like anything else in this world you don't know what you dont know.

I was trying to do this whole no chemical thing hence why I didn't pH. But Its totally not my forte.

I will get it figured out.
outdoor chems are difficult, the weather is constantly battling you . inside not so much, you don't want rain? no rain, you don't want wind? no wind. you could try organic no til to avoid bottle nutes, but I prefer the tried and true method, outdoor organic inside chemicals. just me

Yea see ive done chems outdoors for years. Never used organics.

So now I have this inside set up..... and I tried to change my game. Its a silly mistake tbh. I should stick to what I know this 1st run and fuck around next one.

On the other hand, the more problems you figure out on this run, the better your next should be. You'll also have the skill set for any need to replenish your stash in the winter.

Thats a really good idea. I think il do that. Il keep it simple though.

I've never done dwc but I can see running 2 soil next to each other. 1 with chems one with organics so I can get a guage on where the difference lies.

I'm sure il learn a tone from this run. Every run I have ever done I swear I've learned from and gotten better the next time around. Outdoors..... lmao.

I'm sure the same will apply here.

I was worried about pests, and molds and fungi when I first went outdoors, and I only had a few Hindu Kush seeds. Turned out well, but Mostly because I was lurking here, and had a buddy in the area. Picked up a lot of good stuff. We're here to help.

Yea pests are the biggest issue for me outdoors. Mold less of a concern considering its hot as hell here during the summer. No to say its not a thing because it definitely is. But is more manageable than the fucking bugs.
I got small sections of bud rot due to fighting aphids with the hose. They spray off easily but if its not done in the heat of the day on a sunny day the moisture gets into the buds.

So timing became key in the fight. Cant let the aphids colonize. But can't spray them off unless conditions are just right.

Its not fun.

Best bug protection you can have is ladybird larvae.

I'm considering making a farm for them.

I used potassium bicarbonate as a preventive to bud rot on the advice of a guy in my area, only lost one tiny lower bud to it. Chili/garlic spray + pb fucked the aphids and leafhoppers right up. Oh, hornets are your best friends. They patrol your buds for caterpillars. I saw one pick one off and eat it right there.

Thats the hard part. Are you gonna go into the ground? Or 10 gallon bags?

At least with the bags you can move them out of the rain.
I'm thinking in bags underneath a structure or pvc greenhouse. nothing crazy something small to test out perhaps 1 or 2 plants total just to experiment i still run my indoor crop but ill veg some clones out to bring outside

Late summer early fall the "meat bees" are all about those catapillars.

I use BT though. Fuck those little shits.
