What has been some of your most BS mishaps growing this flower?

ok Let me just say I've been of a horrible string of luck. recently, my zip ties rated at 200lbs, broke and dropped my 1000w light onto my 2 best 3-month-olds, utterly frying them to a crisp. My 1000$ LED light just ignited it's dimmer.

O.K. your turn-GO! :wall:
I don't have pictures but I had a mother plant a couple years ago that got root rot and it spread to the clones in the cupboard with her and they all died. I wanted to breed her/clone one more time to back cross genetics but they all died in one swoop. Pissed me off.

Had a couple dozen plants in my garage and I threw up the door only to find I was staring face to face with a county cop
He was there to return my recent chipped rescue dog who decided to run down a freeway
We both looked in the garage and he couldn’t get out of there fast enough for either of us
Sorry no pics either

Full room 6 weeks in flower under 3k hps . Had to go into the hospital. Middle of Summer 99 degrees. Hubby decided I was wasting too much electricity so he’d put the a/c on “fan only”. Then he “forgot” to water.
Came home after major surgery to death and destruction. I hold a grudge.

You didn't get busted?! Fuck! That's close! One time many years ago my wife and I were drinking and got in a fight. At one point she threw all my seedlings around the closet and our room. I left because I don't do that.

Well I guess the neighbors called the cops who talked with my wife who admitted to being drunk and tossing our apartment. After spotting me and talking to me on the street they arrested her for disturbing the peace and public intox(still don't know how that works). Well I'm sitting there shitting bricks because I know my obvious grow is thrown all over.

As luck would have it they never said a word about it, and I didn't get in any trouble. Sucked having to bail my wife out but better than prison! Still not sure how they didn't notice the grow when they took pictures of my whole house. Maybe they were being cool but I'd be shocked knowing the cops around here.

Not on my grow, but I was mentoring. A buddy had two dozen plants about 6 weeks into flower one summer in 5 gallon DWC buckets. His power failed in a storm, so no AC or chiller for 48 hours. All of them got root rot and died when the temp spiked to about 95 degrees on the grow room. He was pretty devastated, but laughs about it now.
It was his first grow and he went way too big for his skill level. I encouraged him to go single 400W MH or HPS and get some experience. He instead went with 4x1000W MHs and vegged for like 7 weeks. He had all the equipment on his credit card too - took a long time to pay that back but he grows fire now.

Rural cops run the gambit
Some cool and some MP morons
I won’t say I wasn’t nervous cause I removed a couple bales from inside the house but I did leave the plants in place in case he returned
Figured easier than him searching for it
Back in the early 70’s had a cop dump my brand new five finger bag of Columbian red in a ditch
Picked almost every bud up the next morning

Decided to be nice guy and give my wife’s struggling indoor lemon tree some light in the tent with my girls in veg.
Brought in all sorts of shitty bugs.
Had to scrap the whole round.
Never again.
I've had similar things happen! Those plants get their own space and light these days!

Timer screw up midway through flower. I didn't notice until the plants had started to reveg. Then to make things worse I just set the timer back to 12/12 and kept growing when I should have just scrapped the plants. Turned into a bunch of garbage leafy crap. That was years ago and now I check and recheck the timer anytime I touch it. That's the worst I've done but it cost me months of growing and then It screwed up everything as I had veg plants ready to flower that I couldn't. It backed everything up like that cargo ship that got stuck in the Suez canal. Turned into a logistical nightmare.

A LONG time ago, in a land far away, I left 44 quart jars of bud in the house, in the bedroom, stacked by the window in plain sight. Came home from work - window busted out, weed gone, whole season ruined. Found out who later... of course, it was a "friend", - no further comments.

The worst thing since was backing the truck over, and crushing beyond hope, a flat of clones I was about to plant in da woods. DOH! Grrr, all that careful work and 3 hour drive for nothing.

That's a good one! (Run over the clones) lol. Fuck so many stories.
Left for a trip to Tennessee to see the foo fighters and primus had a friend take care of my grow. When I got back all the pots were bone dry and he told me he didn't know why because he came over 1 time to water... Plants were fucked. 7weeks in flower they got so dry and started dying then when I watered them again to try to save then they just got rot and pm and I had to throw the whole grow out. I wasn't mad at him. More at myself.

Oo another good one.
So just a few years before legalization me and my partner knew the money train was running out of tracks, so we decided to go bigger. Used to do around 100 and get 15 - 20 lbs depending on the season and strains. So we did 300 plants in cornfields soy and some random spots 'up the hill'. Well that property got sold and the new owner was walking his property and found 37 plants about 6-7 ft high just about to flower. He mowed them down with a weed whacker. Man that hurt bad. Carrying bails of promix, peat, and water kms uphill trailblazing.... The spot was safe for 10yrs so we thought we'd be fine as long as hunters didn't find it. Wrong
To add insult to injury our corn crops got jacked and it was the same day we went to harvest because they left a tiny lower bud on the ground as a fuck you to us and the leaves were still perked up and not wilted.. I smoked an entire pack of cigarettes one after the other just holding my head and rocking back and forth
That was the last year we grew guerilla. Now it's all just for personal.
