What has been some of your most BS mishaps growing this flower?

You have the saddest stories.
Lol
I never got busted or robbed at gunpoint like my other buddy did so I consider myself lucky. That incident gave me ptsd. But I got over it and took it as a learning exp. A great lesson is that this plant is meant to be enjoyed and shared not grown for profit and greed. She will bestow her karma upon you, good or bad depending how you treat her.
I know it sounds fucked up. But ever since I gave that all up I'm in a really good spot now in my life in all aspects really and I believe she gave me good karma now that I treat her the way she should be treated. Gifted, given to friends who aren't as fortunate. Share with people who use/need it for medical reasons.

You are lucky. I witnessed a highbay mh bulb explode, the element stayed lit and lit the plastic cover on fire. Luckily we were there to turn off the lights and put a fire blanket under the flaming plastic dripping down.
I know I’m lucky that’s why I’m buying an LED.

I was not home. I’m glad it was on a concrete floor and not carpet. Hot glass pieces were all over the ground and even melted the bottom of the tent.

I plugged in a 400mh watt into the wall instead of the timer after stretch had finished(clocked 2 weeks later .... 4 weeks in flower, i had re-vegged frankenstein spider growth, that selfed to seed Central. Vegged for 8 weeks under 1200w and scrapped. 1000pound on electric for nothing.

Started out doing dwc in a 4x4 tent in the roof. Let me tell you if you want problems give this a try. Carrying 20L buckets of water up a ladder and we had 10 foot ceilings so was a decent climb. Anyway got home one day to find a casual 50L of nutrient mix sitting in the bottom of the tent which thankfully those drain pans actually hold water. So was an exciting little clean up effort pumping it all back into buckets and carry all the wasted feed back down the ladder. Then fix a leak then try to get system refilled and running again before plants died, that's a shit fight I don't miss.

Timer screw up midway through flower. I didn't notice until the plants had started to reveg. Then to make things worse I just set the timer back to 12/12 and kept growing when I should have just scrapped the plants. Turned into a bunch of garbage leafy crap. That was years ago and now I check and recheck the timer anytime I touch it. That's the worst I've done but it cost me months of growing and then It screwed up everything as I had veg plants ready to flower that I couldn't. It backed everything up like that cargo ship that got stuck in the Suez canal. Turned into a logistical nightmare.
That’s why I moved on to digital timers instead of the mechanical ones. Seem more reliable and don’t drift nearly as much out of time

I flooded my tent for 24 hours by getting an air stone line caught on my floater valve. I screwed up and killed a bunch of pheno hunted clones last winter. A couple of times I've walked into my drying room to discover that a hanging bar had given way. All of my buds lying on the floor, partially broken and jumbled up with their little hooks attached to random stems making it a nightmare to detangle and rehang.

I remember this because it happened to my friend a few weeks before it happened to you.

I had a grow reveg once because a power cord hanging in front of the main timer was shortening night time by one detent every 24 hours as the dial rotated. Took me forever to figure out and yeah,, the grow was garbage

This summer i had a plant go down within a week from rot on the stem attracting termites. These 2 leaves were a sign that didnt hit me hard enough but upon review it's evidence a problem was developing.

A few years ago, I received my led cobs (8), and mean well drivers (2), I was exited, I rolled a couple of SSDD joints, smoked em while assembling the lights, first light worked fine, the second one the driver just smoked a little and no lights on.
It turned out that I connected the AC wires to the drivers DC side, while the drivers AC side went to the cobs :dunce:.
Had to buy a new driver :wall:.
Lesson learned: to double check the electrical wiring.

Bought a cheap digital ballast off ebay and got a knock from the cable company. Apparently my place had such high rf interference that it was messing up people's cable, ham radios and this personal airport right by me. Luckily the guy looked like an old hippie but when he was outside shutting certain cables off I unplugged the ballast and he figured it was something he did. Said I was lucky he came over before the fcc said something.

Flooded several floors at several houses

Got pm and aphids at the same time and had to scrap everything

Got raided and got a felony for manufacture/delivery

Probably more I can't think of now
