Once they adopt the regulations into the State Register it will be legal, The state register gets published every Wednesday, so next Wednesday it should be legal..
Legal to grow right away? I thought I read someplace like 6 months after dispensaries open

I mean what does this exactly mean for us?
We can grow 6 plants, 3 flowering, 3 veg. And if you rent they cant get rid of your for it. I'm sure there's some other stuff also. Hopefully one of you goes over it all and lets the rest of us know what's different and what's finalized...

If you're not a med patient.... you have to wait 6 months until after the first dispensary opens. And who knows if they'll push that back. They delayed the medical patient regulations..

Go get med certified online. They have tele-sessions and docs who will approve you for your condition, it like 200$ for the year..

You can call these guys, they were easy to deal with: https://greenhealthdocs.com/new-york-marijuana-card-online/

If you run CBD plants - does that count towards your limit of 3/3? Or does it count as hemp?
I seem to remember hearing in an OCM meeting that Hemp does not count twoards the 3 & 3 limit. that does sound kinda difficult in practice, it would be expensive to prove that they were under the 3% limit if one needed to do so.

So from what I'm reading October 5th these new laws go into effect?

Also ..one of you was saying that the penalty for going over the plant limit was a mere fine. And not a misdemeanor/felony.

Can any of you confirm this?

That's what I'm seeing the penal code. I'm pretty sure that this has been the penalty aince they passed the MRTA, which leaves me kinda kicking myself for waiting...

Good question, I don't know if anyone knows this yet as the law hasn't even gone into affect yet? I would be surprised if it was a mis/felony for having a couple over. Now 20 over?

Yeah it’s true, I think I shared the specific section of the regulations earlier in this thread that say what can happen if you grow outside of what the regulations dictate
