The program was never built/put in place for the benefit of patients that really need access to the plant. These MSO's and elected officials view cannabis as the next gold rush.

If you see round 1 were proposed rules and round 2 are revised regulations. If the regulations were still under revision wouldn't they say it? It seems to me something is changing. I know they have to file it in the State Registrar, but they're already giving it a different label...

I wouldn't be surprised if they made home grow crazy restrictive to benefit the state along with MSO's

Technically we are in limbo. The 2nd (really third) comment period ended on July 25th. They now have as much time as they like to review the comments. There is a possibility that they will say there are more 'substantial changes' and need to go into another comment period. Let's hope not...

Once the OCM (appointed by the unelected Governor...) feels like they have no more changes they will update the public registrar during a scheduled meeting. That did not happen on August 15th.

They had 6 months to establish rules based on the wording of the MRTA. They need to be held accountable for depriving patients access to our lawful medicine.

Y'all my niggaz. Please keep posting any updates your have on said subject. The more I cut through the bs, the closer I think we're getting to a point where they have to eat their own words and make some definitive changes to allow us med card holders the right to grow 6 plants..

I just feel like that’s such an unfortunate conclusion…I hope it isn’t so, I hope that we end up at a place where a caregiver can have more than 12 plants, or whatever it is, I know that there is no way, in these laws, for the Everyman, who is an artisan in the craft, to share his work in a meaningful way, like there is in some of the states that are a little more for the people and less, idk, ‘the empire state’, maybe that’s our issue, that we were expecting any more or less

it's fucked up but that's how it is now. I'm hoping that the medical 'defense' is put in place to protect the pioneers with a particular excuse signed off by a doctor. once that happens we're on our way to the rest off it. or that's how I see it...

I've been checking the state register every Wednesday and looking at the upcoming board meetings, I'm almost positive it'll have to be discussed at the board meeting before it gets entered into the state register, I really don't feel like its not going to actually happen or that they'll do away with the home grow but it's pretty apparent that its not something they're too worried about getting into motion anytime soon either.. we will see it go into law at some point but unfortunately we're at their mercy of when it's convenient for them.. I've sent a few emails calling them out on their bs, pushing the rec before the med and so on.. The people on the control board probably don't even see the emails they have their staff read them and filter them out, anything negative they probably just ignore and toss.. It really sucks as we're nearly a year overdue now but this will be in the past for us eventually.. And yes the 6/12 plant count does sort of suck and for anyone that was hoping for more I'd suggest growing bigger plants. Also keep in mind that failure to grow within the regulations only caries a maximum civil penalty of (I forget exactly but its around a coupe hundred bucks), civil penalty = not a crime, so there are some perks to the rules and regulations they have, the 5 pound personal stash is a good one too btw lol.

Damn you guys are getting taken for quite a ride. No recreational growing either until 18 months after the dispensaries start operating.

I thought this was a pretty cool idea.

We're still waiting for the medical patient use to be filed and made legal (with 6 plant restriction) The initial recreational homegrow rules stated 18 months after the first dispensary opens, so I would guess you have a long wait, especially with us still waiting... but who knows with these people in charge anything is possible.. if it takes 3 more years I wouldn't be surprised..
