Just read through entire thread as I'm a noob as well. What a mountain of usefull info. Nyb, you mentioned early on that you had odor issues with your tent. Did you place your filter outside of tent? Smell is main priority for my grow. Were you able to effectively control it?And how? Really envious of your grow, ladies are absoulute Beasts! Totally enjoyed this thread. Happy Trails

Hey Spoc! Thank you! We do have a carbon filter in the tent that helps. But if you look thru one of the posts that TLD commented on, it shows how the ventilation should be better. and will give you a great idea on how you can help manage it, with the proper ventilation. I think the majority of our problem is the fact the the heating/ac unit is in that room and pushes the smell thru the vents. I also find that the smell is a bit stronger just before or around the time the light comes on. But most of the time, we try not to have company and I love to burn candles. LoL Good luck with your grow. :-P

Ok... got a question which has nuttin to do with me..lol

A friend has a
250 HPS and using the SOG method in a 3x3x6 tent with NL's, how many plants and what size pots do you think would be best?

Thank ya! :-P:-P;-)

cram as many half gallon pots on an ebb and flow tray as you can, and lollipop the shit out of them thick en heavy ;), no veg ;)
Thanks TLD! ;-) Now if they were to use soil and didnt have an ebb & flow tray, still use the half gallon pots?

And my own dumb question... I love to learn.. why no veg? You just grow in flower? :-?

no veg because there would be no need to.... 250W isn't going to penetrate far enough into the canopy to support healthy undergrowth, thus supercharging the tops by going into 12/12 immediately (clones, well rooted) and lollipopping :)

Ok Guys... NEW pics! and I FINALLY did a comparison shot. I know it may not measure up to some of the plants here, but I feel like we have accomplished something!

Hey RM! Thanks! According to my husband we went into flowering about the 6th week. I was to lazy to read back thru the thread, but that sounds right. They are also just about under 4 ft and they are not as bad as some other types we have had before. BUt they do smell good.;-) I think we bought them from Dr. Chronic.

Nice! Super results! Looks like they have a bit to go still with all the pistol growth. Are the trichs amber yet?
