with what guns? you guys are the ones constantly mouth farting about how gun bans don't work.

did you miss the part about the militia being well-regulated?

call me when england is invading and trying to install a monarch on us.
enemies foreign and domestic. thats why the army takes an oath to the constitution, not the flag, not washington's k-street lobby and definitely not the Brahmin in Chief.

shouldn't i get some kind of cool badge for being a member of this militia you say i belong to?

where's my uniform?
you dont have yours because youre a scofflaw. the congress and the executive branch have simply declared by fiat that your selective service card is the "regulation" of the militia, and when needed you will simply be pressed into service despite the constitution, and various laws which prohibit this same action if it is described as a standing army and conscription. thats why they use weasel words to change it's appearance while retaining the fundamental structure intact.

We DO have a standing army, despite the constitution's prohibition on staanding armies
We DO have conscription (as an option, though currently not being used) despite the constitutional ban on such actions
We DO have bans on arms which the constitution the second amendment and case law prohibit
We DO have a modern society that accepts curtailing our rights instead of demanding our leaders serve us instead of themselves

we do NOT have a militia any more, despite requirments that it be rerady, and many provisions detailing the responsibilities of the members (which is all of us)
we do NOT have leaders in washington, we have sycophants and greedy shysters enriching themselves
we do NOT have a nation ruled by laws any more, we have a nation ruled by lawyers and bureacrats
we do NOT have a constitution any more, we have simpering fools like yourself who wish only to live on their knees

where does it say anything about enemies foreign and domestic? i might need to buy some reading glasses as my eyesight is fading with age, but all i saw was something about the security of a free state.

and, if i am not mistaken, that had a pretty clear meaning at the time when they wrote it. they were pretty worried about england coming back with a hate boner.

say, you're not one of these libtard nutbags who believes that the meaning of the constitution changes over time, are ya? i thought you were one of those "it's a dead document" kind of folks.

lol. scofflaw? i was still watering peonies and slinging japanese maples last year and paying uncle sam for the privilege. hell, i paid that bastard uncle $87 this year, 25-35% or so of which should have gone to men with guns to protect the security of our free state from brown men in the middle east who want us out of their free states.

but i'm well past the age where i would be placed into the SS raffle.

i had no idea that i was living on my knees. thank goodness for internet gaylords who turn up their noses at multiculturalism and rant wildly about communist fluoride poisoning plots to inform me of how i go about my day to day interactions.

Dog bless you, sir.

been mentioned in here he was breaking the law by being in a 'gun free zone' but to add to that, he was also breaking the law by concealing the pistols, which he probably also transported illegally, and also he looks to young to own a pistol, I believe that the mags he used are also illegal in that state. Some gun laws, yea we totally need more of them <sarcasm>

They ain't GOTTA narc on them. Registration laws have assured that.
thats how it started with hitler. he had everyone register their firearms aand weapons and when the time came he had the addresses of everyone with firearms so it was 50 times easier to confiscate them all. an unarmed populace is easy to concur whether it be for genocide or just pure greed i still believe it can happen again.

i have heard, from 3 independent sources, that the UN has troops practicing home to home searches on the old barracks at Lemoore Naval Air Station.
thats true. i have a buddy thats actually training with u.n. soldiers for door to door searches and seisure. but thats all he could tell me becuz of his hush hush orders. he couldnt tell me why or what they were intending on seizing but could tell me they were training to do so.

how many people would loughner have taken out had the brady bill been renewed?

and is it really and truly freedom unless my magazine is of sufficient capacity to wipe out a room full of kindergarteners without reloading?

have your guns, but design them for the purposes that you say they are for: self defense and hunting.

we don't need guns that are made for the battle of the bulge, that's simply retarded.

i am happy to allow you paranoid fruitcakes your penis enhancers all day long (edit: i kind of have to, there's something in the constitution about it) as long as you guys can show me you're keeping them safe. that wasn't the case in my state the other day, and that wasn't this case with the momma who was killed with her own gun that she failed to lock away safely while not in use.

what if the guy ur defending urself against u has an ak47? why shouldnt u be able to have one to defend urself also or a nice AR varient? 30 rd mags are so easy to get a hold of even in illegal states. so why does it have to be limited to 10 round magazines and handgun and rifle safety requirements for my defense when the criminals dont actually care about the laws in place? not everyone is a fruitloop waiting to snap. i should have every right to own any kind of firearm with as many bullets in the magazine as i see fit as long as im not hurting anyone or misusing the weapons in any way whether it be for defense or not.

too bad the "foreign and domestic" part still stands. its part of the oath you are supposed to live up to when joining any branch of the armed forced whether it be army to coast guard u say those words or u do not enlist and thats today not 1812.

Cut UB some slack, he was never interested in helping his country, only himself.

Every state is different. Where I'm at (HI) you have to take your guns(s) to the police station after you buy them. They take pictures of the gun, serial number, etc. and they already have all of your personal info. There is a two week waiting period on handguns, and you have to apply for a permit for every handgun you buy. Magazines are restricted to 10 rounds. You also have to pass a safety course in order to buy a gun.
Were talking about the federal government here, not states.

The main reason we have gun rights is not to go hunting or defend ourselves from a thief, but to defend ourselves from an out of control federal government. In that scenario we need high capacity magazines for every gun.

If the police and military can carry them, the intent of the 2nd Amendment says i should too.

Btw, "assault" rifles is a funny term imo. ANYthing can be an "assault" weapon, if used for assaulting.

Even an "assault" shaker.
with that logic i guess since the military has nukes you should be allowed them too ,your an ass
