I think America getting destroyed then Canada moving in and quietly taking over is far more likely. There are far more variables to war than you seem to realize.

You do realize that your country isnt well off financially as well correct? Do understand that Canada having an equivalent $ value to the US means that your economy is in basically the same state. Consequently, the fact that you argue proudly that your dollar is essentially equal to ours is funny.
And I'm sure if a war was brought to our home front, Canada would just be collateral damage

Ya I know we're not that great financially. But at least we did that to ourselves and not from failing worldwide. As another example:
An alcoholic that only abuses themselves by drinking (Canada) is seen much better than the one who beats his wife (America).
Maybe SOME collateral damage but I think shit would get WAY more fucked up on your side. Not everyone wants to resort to nuclear if they don't have to.
If US attacked Canada, for instance, they can't resort to nuclear without killing their own. You'd be a real dumbass to spread cancer and birth defects on their own... Well on such a mass scale anyway...
