Cross, Why not run both a hps and cmh during the flower stage. Hps would give you the dense buds and cmh would give you the resin.

If your going with Hydro then you should check out the Lucas formula. I find it works well

CFL maybe if you surround the plants. CFL are more typical with 1 to 3 plants. I would go with HPS for more then that. HTG supply sell lights pretty cheap. Whats the budget like?
