Nah, I’m rough on seedlings so usually kill off any stunted weirdos when they are babies.

I’ve had the opposite issue my 1st year where they “reach” in the living daylight vs. my T5. They grow exponentially, but produce corresponding nodes in a less than desirable increment. (I think it was my indoor lighting schedule, which has since been adjusted) As far as light, I think “green” is your best bet based on my indoor grows that I’ve done in the past…

Might get rid of the light. Even green light is not to be used as a safe light. Even a little green light will interrupt your plants night-cycle.

Yea, I cull the weak ones too, I found about 8 of these little munchkin plants one year out by an old seedling bed. By fall, they'd flowered a dandelion sized bud. I've had one find it's way into the garden, it's just something different to look at.

No specific plan but lots of choices.
Thinking I’ll put most of these in the ground after we get through the predicted mid-week chilly nights - although not the babies that were started late to replace seedlings that damped off, I’ll have to wait a couple more weeks for those to go out.
First up we have the Battle of the Afghans. On the left are 4 Mazar-I-Sharif from Baaba Qo Selections, long considered the top hash plants in the region for producing the famed Milk of Mazar hashish. On the right are 4 Panjshir from The Real Seed Co. that I chose due to the UN Office of Drug Control’s recent annual reports (recommendations lol?) stating that hash from Panjshir has overtaken Mazari as the priciest hash in the country -
The second pan has two Himalayan varieties from The Real Seed Co. On the left are 3 Dakshinkali from Nepal and on the right 4 Rasoli from India. 2 of the Rasoli are already telling me they are going to be stupid tall, while the other 2 had some weird albinism that slowed their growth - one grew past the albino bullshit and recovered into a normal shape, while the other’s apical meristem crapped out and now has two separate top branches. Looking forward to maybe making some hand-rubbed Temple Balls like we used to see back in the 70s, that I fondly recall as having a blissful spiritual buzz that made me One with the Universe while holding hands with the Buddha or some such nonsense lol -

And I paid a huge price. Before putting up animal fencing and without thinking, I set all my seedlings in a garden to get full sun..
Raccoon dug up and destroyed just about everything...
Plus weather Wednesday supposed to be down to 28°

The cuttings I kept under low light this winter are taking off nicely. They are all ready about 3 foot. I did a run of about 60 clones from them for some friends and tried some air layering on a couple of the meaty side branches.
The damn groundhogs have begun sending scouts to the perimeter. I'm gonna need to gas up my scuba tanks soon to fuel the lead pill pneumatic accelerator.

Anybody here in mass been dealing with gray leaf mold with there outdoor plants? seems to be a lot worse in the past two years. I know I should be using a preventive but I always wait for a problem then treat it like a dumb ass lol. Growing 5 autos on my deck that I started in April indoors and just started some freeze land and serious 7 a pheno of serious 6.
Yes, there’s no avoiding it entirely but it can be managed. I spray B.t.to control caterpillars when I see them, but also spray a light peroxide solution starting in September to control both botrytis and powdery mildew.

I would use copper in veg. Also make sure they have enough calcium. Just my opinion.

People also use a milk/water mix. Mold is ph related. I get septoria, in addition to the rest.
I use a gallon pump sprayer. Dump a quart of 3% peroxide in, add 3 quarts of water, shake a couple times, pump it up and spray away. Best to apply when dry. I don’t spray every day but I do reapply after wet weather, which is frequent in the fall along the coast. It won’t stop it all, but it will help limit impacts.

I alternate spinosad and neem oil in veg, neem is a fungicide, and don’t get mold or mildew.
Putting the runts outdoors, Ethos S1 and Banana hammock(including a reveg) with some of my Sticky Yellows. Damp, cool week should be good to harden them.
edit: just added tomato cages to a couple. First time, but had them left over. Pushed the three prongs through the bottom of the bag and bent 90° to anchor the cage.
