Update time
So I topdressed with the castings as was recommended, was able to get nice fresh castings at my hydro shop, they just picked this kind up this week from a local farm, lucky me!
They appear to all be getting into their stretch, the 2 White Rhino are the first to have their top bud start actually forming. Everybody is looking happy and healthy, pull up a chair mike its about to get interesting...

Flipped on the reds this week and raised the light to 18", they grew pretty close since they started to stretch, shouldn't need to adjust it again though, think I might try to squeeze all 12 gals in this tent, worst case scenario 3 finish under the IG.
Tent shot, they all got a little taken off the bottom to make room for the top dress

Day 30 Update
So those little white bastards are still in my soil, they have not spread to the foliage and they do not appear to be impacting growth so for the sake of sanity I am just going to chalk them up as soil bugs that do no harm. Have a nice lil web forming on the top of the EWC top dress, kinda surprised since I do not use organic nutes, I also do not feed heavy though.
Thinking about pulling out some of the front runners, have a Master Kush and Blue Mystic that are getting bigger than the rest and it is not fair to the rest of them to have to have additional 4-6" from canopy to lights because of these big bitches, might put them and my White widow which is a little taller in my IG tent since I have the room.
Got pretty humid outside today, in turn making it muggy in the grow room, had to kick on the a/c when I got home from work since it was 85 in there. Jinxed myself by saying in a different thread I have yet to need my a/c.... They were not all happy with me but they looked better for picture time. The lights needed to be raised today since it had been a while (at 12-16" from tops depending where I measure now) and the temps getting a little high had em tacoing a wee bit, not all just the taller ones.

Now that I have gotten my usual speel out of the way here are the gals, took a pic of one the plants with a fungus web going over the top because I thought it kinda looked cool, I know Im a lame.... Overall I must say that I am happy with how this grow is progressing and more than pleased with the lights ability to veg with just the CWs

Just realized as I was walking past the tent before lights out that I did not feel the exhaust blow on me on my way out the door, looked at the vent and some how the sleeve for the vent ended up covering the exhaust ducting, who knows how long it has been that way but it is fixed now....

I know that problem. I was having that issue when the blankets were covering windows. I had to make the filter sort of catch the blanket with the edge. A staple gun staple would just tear away. Same with screws...

I had the same problem with my tent. I was just doing the draw string on the sleeve around the duct on intake and exhaust but they were moving and slipping. I repositioned them then zip tied the sleeve around the ducts and that did it.

natro, how are you liking the new RW's? I've got a XGS and it's doing a great job so far. Has anybody done a side by side with the two? I'm looking to get another light set up from Area 51 and I'm looking for any informed opinions between the two.

I am digging em so far. Definitely put any of the old panels I have to shame lol. The CW by themselves did awesome in veg, kept everything compact. I flipped the reds on as they were going into stretch and for the most part they stayed squat. Had a Master Kush and a Blue Mystic take off 6 in. taller than the average so I pulled those two out along with another plant (been having to rotate plants out because both of the other plants I have put with them started having problems from low humidity in my IG tent). I have not had to monitor my temps to much or upgrade my shit exhuast fan like I thought I might so that is +. Also do not see a lot of canopy stress if I forget to raise the lights for a day or two so I think I could run the lights closer if I was tempted, not saying try it but I may next grow.
All in all I am pumped to see him put out the larger panels he was talking about. Little birdie told me they were def looking at dropping a 300w version of this panel soon, and potentially a 500 or 700 if it makes sense so I am saving the tin cans and what not lol.

Will have an update for you guys on friday, gonna take individual pics again since it has been long enough.
Side note thought, I was winning the gnat battle but I was sorely mistaken, so I caved and bought gnatrol. I deal with these little fucks enough that this shit will pay dividends in no time...
EDIT: I am so baked I missed most of your post cap, was just rambling about how much I like it lol. I believe gkskunky has a journal going of both panels in use, not so much a side by side if I am not mistaken. Thinking of getting a XGS, they can not keep the fricking things in stock, they are selling like rubbers at an orgy....

Amazing op so far, really admiring a lot of what you're doing.

I haven't read through everything just yet but I think I can help your gnat issue.

Im probably wrong but from pics it seems like you're letting your pots sit in water after feeding them?

- Drain them out after every watering
- Remove any and all water from your tent
- put in some hydrogen peroxide in with your next watering (will kill eggs, dead roots and promote root health)

Thanks, i usually suck out the excess water in the catch pan with a turkey baster (gonna get a wet-vac soon). Should have them on lock now that i have some gnatrol, idk why but my soil takes forever to dry out lately, been trying to let it get real dry to combat the gnats. Preciate the acknowledgment tho bro.

hi natro,

I subbed, fantastic grow: simple and will probably be very efficient.
12/12 from seed SOG is my favorite along with 1 big ass plant in SCROG even if I don't have a lot of grow under my belt.
For me 12/12 is low maintenance, possibility of doing a perpetual with no mother, multistrain grow etc... You did the good choice.

I have a few questions as I am planing to buy one RW75,
How deep do you find the light goes?
I find your girls a bit "stretchy" Internods seems big even for direct 12/12, Do you think you should have put the light a bit closer ?
How tall are the girls right now?

see ya,

Hey speedy,
I like the 12/12, it may just look like a lot of them are stretchy because I have 4-5 that tower over the rest by a good 6in. so I think it is more or less the variance in the strains why you are seeing the stretch. I actually have 3 plants that I have not taken measurements but I am pretty sure they stayed smaller than a foot.... I will take some actual measurements when I pull them out today for their photo op tonight potentially tomorrow if I have to work late. I could have moved the light closer since I did not see any negative effects on growth forcing me to raise it, just tried to mind the manufacturers recommended height is all since I have never run these lights and was not sure how strong they would be. The light penetrates really well actually, was gonna clean a lot of the littler plants up into a lollipop for bag appeal but have since decided to leave all the little lower branches that I can and see how they yield fairly untrimmed.

Just to give you an idea of what I mean by strain variance going into flower stretch
This pic was taken on the 28th of april, you can see some are just getting into their stretch while others are choosing to stay squat.
For example the white rhino in the front left only went into flowering with a total of like 5 nodes while the Rhino next to it is gonna be an awesome yielder because it has like 10 nodes, all super close and filling in fast.
2014-04-28 16.38.31.jpg
And then here is recent pic of them coming to the end of their stretch, you can see in this pic I had a few runaways for some reason but 8/12 are all within 4 in. of each other, you will see in this next update I am down to 9 plants in that tent because it was getting crowded and the leaders were dictating canopy height which I did not like.
2014-05-08 17.16.41.jpg
One last little praise for this light, I have never seen as big of fan leaves with my old led's as I have with this light. This is my first light with white in it so maybe that has something to do with it, but a majority of the leaves are bigger than my hand. And i got some big paws...
Stay tuned should have a large update for you guys soon

K settle in boys cus this one is gonna be a pretty extensive update. I took measurements of all the plants, rim of the pot to tip of the bud and width I did from tip to tip of widest fan leaves. Width won't tell much just felt like measuring it cus.
The pics are not in a particular order but I will label them, it will have to be like 3 updates since I have little more than 20 pictures going up. Took a pic of the leaf damage on the white widow from the humidity damage, this shit is what destroyed all the leaf tissue on my Swiss cheese, guess they do not like the low humidity in my other bud tent. To bad for them cus I will not raise that shit and get mold, the plants in there now are not having a problem so no harm no foul. Kinda upset with how little the Raspberry Cough has for branching, all the other plants got some branches but all 3 of them are just a stick lol.
So I will start with the group shots, 9 in the Area 51 tent and 3 of the tallest are in the IG-420 tent now, although it is kinda hard to tell there is only 9 plants in there.

Pic of one of the fan leaves to show size
2014-05-16 17.39.33.jpg
Pic of the Humidity damage to show, did not look like this when I pulled it out of the tent but it just once the damage is done it just progresses to this, all you can do is make sure it doesn't get worse 2014-05-16 18.06.49.jpg

nice ! ;)

the group shot is really cool.
Thank you for the measurement it's good to see that 19-30inch is a the general height I should expect with this panel in 12/12 directly for indica/sativa.
Don't worry about your RC; one stick ? in 4weeks it may be a huge single cola...

bye

Shit guys sorry it has been so long since my last update but been hella busy at work and just tried to do upload the pics I took of my grow and my phone is being wonky and will not connect to the comp, may be time to get a real camera....

Not visual, and kinda glad cus they are not happy, but the buds are really swelling on some of these plants. Speedy man you called it the shortest RC is just all chunk bud on a stick lol. Will get pics up soon hopefully, not missing much other than me chasing my tail after OD'ing em on PK 13/14, this stuff is not going in my Canna nute regiment anymore. Just a headache every time I use the stuff and the Tera by itself does just fine getting a plant to harvest so no more trying to push em.

So what issues is the pk causing you? I just added the pk to my tubs Saturday. So far no problems. How much per gallon were you using. Now I guess I should keep a close eye. I'm thinking the canazyme is going to find its way out of my supplies. Seems pointless and think it may kind of cancel out the rhizotonic.

I always get cal lock out with it or some other micro nute lock out when I try to kick em with that booster. And it is always the week after I feed them that because I only feed it to them for a week. Start them on 3-5ml per gallon first feeding then the second and last feeding is 8-10 ml per gallon. I first noticed it with the Space bomb I had been running for a minute, they grew great with just the reg feed but then bought that to see how it worked and it just locked out my calcium... Now this time I have something going on with each plant it seems like. I ran em a little hard in "veg" (was 12/12 but not bud growth) but backed off and they all responded well.
I could just be totally missing the mark with this stuff as far as time to introduce it to feed but I try to follow their description to the T, but this is the first time running 12/12 fs where I control the nutes, last run I did was to test how good my super soil was. So could just be grower error do not get me wrong I am no pro and not perfect but I ran the reg schedule just fine, will still use the Rhizo tonic that seems to work great.
