Well its thursday, that makes it 6 weeks of 12/12 now. After flushing intensely with just water and spraying leaves with a light mix of epsom salts I think the master kush is bouncing back. She seems to be getting a bit more life back in the leaves, they aren't as crispy anymore and it seems like she is growing again. I flushed to help fix the nute burn/Mag def or combination or whatever it actually was but at this far into flower I think I will continue to just use water. Its not worth adding chemical nutes back into the mix if you ask me.

I did a lot of leaf tucking, rearranging to help get light in other places. The blue mystic really took off when I exposed plenty of under developed popcorn nug sites. They are now growing right up into the canopy its just a beauty lol. I cut off some of the seriously burned Master kush leaves to help get more light down there and it seems to be helping. Thickening up the branches below the canopy.

So here they are. Blue mystic is the big leafy mother fucker stretching tall on the left and the Master Kush is on the right. Below are just random nug shots from both.

thanks man. yeah good thinking, but doesn't salt help in the curing process??:bigjoint: jk. Do you think using vinegar in the water for the rest of the grow will effect taste or anything? I put a cap full so about a tablespoon for a little over a gallon of water.

what are you using the vinegar for? What I do the last week or 2 is a capful of unsulfured cooking molasses per gallon of water. The sugars in it help the last wave of resin/thc production.

I was using vinegar to lower my tap waters ph level. I dont have a ph tester so I just assumed it could be lowered. It seems to have helped maybe? I havent had any luck using molasses. I tried it twice and either my tap water or the molasses caused some deficiencies, something getting locked out. Im kind of scared to try anything new at this point because it seems like they are doing alright after the flush now. Here are some pics I snapped before the lights came on.

I couldn't stand keeping the monster blue mystic all caged up in the tent. She needed to breeeeath. So I built some ghetto box with drywall I had laying around. Well more like just leaned a few pieces together and used some table legs to hang the light from.

In my experience, especially in soil, people put way to much emphasis on ph. In all my years growing, and in all my connections growing, no one I know messes with the ph. Plain ol tap water is 98% the time in an acceptable ph. You honestly could cut the vinegar. In addition, its better to use sulfur and dolomite lime to change your ph

Vinegar bro?????
Cant imagine it will taste good. If you go 100% organic you wont have to worry about ph.. Just a thought

Thank you very much, will cut the vinegar. I never did worry about ph throughout all veg and up until 3 weeks ago when my leaves went all spotty and rusted. I checked the forums and it looked to be a magnesium deficiency, so I got the epsom salts mixed in with the water and watered them. This did nothing so I read to high a ph can lockout some nutrients from getting to the plant so I tried flushing with the vinegar water and that is the only thing that seems to help with the dry leaves.

  • I wanted to go organic but I used chemical nutes for veg and for only one feeding in flower. I flushed them a week ago. If I wanted to continue on organic for the last 2 weeks what would you recommend? Im using Pro mix HP if that makes any difference,
