That is what I'm going to be working in. I'm going to build a screen that is about 8" off the top of my pots and I'm going to be doing a scrog perpetual where I take clones right before flower and I Grow them in the top and flower in the bottom. I'm going to be making 4 screens that are the same measurements and what I'm going to do (with the help of my wife is just move the screen and the plant when flower comes along. That way every month one goes in and one comes out. thus the perpetualness of it all.

I'm using a 2', 4 bulb t5 setup on the top and a 600w air cooled reflective hood for flower.

I'm growing in Super soil. ((basically the "just add water" way of growing)

MY issue is: I'm growing in a small room in the basement. Cold is going to be an issue now but I can fix that. But during the summer I'm afraid it's going to get hot. I guess my question is how could I best vent this tent in my basement and during the summer if I were to just blow filtered air into the room would it fuck shit up somehow? How will I vent all this hot air?

Do you have any options as far as existing penetrations to outside? Is the basement a sealed room?

I do have an option to vent it but it's out an old coal door so it's not supposed to be open all the time and you can see the ducting as youre walking by. IDK if I should be worried about that. I wish there was a way that I could keep it from needing to be vented outside.

A 600 watter is a little big for that tent, no? My basement is between 65-75 degrees year round. You can vent it right into the basement.

NICE! It might be a bit large but I'm gonna try and cool it so I don't figure it will be much of an issue if I keep the light further away from the plants.

My 600 warms my entire basement in the Summer. I would vent up and away from the basement in the Summer.
my basement stays pretty cool in the Summer, but my tent will always be about 3-5 degrees warmer than the temp of the room it sits in.
