Anybody ever used old compost Summet thats been in your shed a while ect.i have before and the plants needed feeding as the stuff was lower in nutrients ect....if potted again into new compost you think the repot will be sufficient enough to bypass yellowing of leaves....

Unless the compost is totally dried out I would use it. If your plants are turning yellow, you need to add more things with NPK value to your soil. Unless you have some great homemade compost(many here do), your plant can not live off just it.

It's as good as the day it was bagged.

No nutrient loss, temps don't mean anything.

It is soil, unless it was left soggy wet and warm for months it is a stable medium and the shelf life is measured in years.

Proceed as per instructions.

Thanks for the reply. yes its managed to sprout my seedlings until a repot. unfortunatly i left the seedlings in very small pots for nearly 2 week and the plants started to droop and go yellow on bottom leaves...i potted up into biomix and the following day they had perked up and started to straighten out again and new growth started...so iv now repotted all the plants into new mix and pots for the next 2 weeks until into there final pots for flowering....but thanks...the compost has done good...even though stood for a while....
