Can anyone tell me how tall were those Barneys farms Acapulco gold plants, are they really just 70-80 cm thats about 32 inches my sensi seeds 1994 cannabis cup winner NL5 x haze is about 60 inches but one fat joint can get 12 newbies high or 2 hard core stoners. Was looking at the sensi seeds mexican sativa its not 100% pure acapulco gold but more than 50%, seeds are not expensive either.

True Tie Stick was Monkey Pau soaked in hot liquid Opium. and it was actually tied onto a stick. ie TIE Stick.

as a matter of fact, funny you mention A Gold. Columbian Gold was the same strain as A. Gold but grown in Columbia instead of Accupulco. I had a small stash of 12 to 18 beans ive had since the 80s. some of the beans were from a bail of Gold Stamped Columbian Gold. IE it was a 2.2 kilo round brick with a gold seal stamped on it saying 100% PURE Columbian Gold. the true shit. and i had 2 or 3 beans from a qp of hawiian blue i got back in early 80.

over the last 3 weeks, i decided i wanted to see if i can get any of these relics to sprout.

currently i tried 11, with 10 failures. I Soaked 2 beans 2 nights ago. dropped them into a peat pot yesterday am. this AM i HAD A SPROUT!!!!!!!! but only one. hopeing the other will sprout.

im not sure what it is, but it is either the C Gold, or the Hawaiin.
their is a VERY SLIM Chance it may be an original Pinnconning Paralizer seed or possibly a Early Pearl seed. but im pretty sure i have these 2 types hidden somewhere aroudn here still, as i recall they were in a different box than the CGold and Hawiian seeds.

id be happy to have a Girl from either the C Gold or the Hawiian, but id really like a girl of the Hawaiin, or a male for the C Gold. Reason i wouldnt mind a male CG, is their has been minimal to zero A or C gold Pollen available for 30 years. so really, if the sprout is a male of Eather strain, it could be worth a small fortune i think.

time and care will tell.

a mexican friend of mine gave me some about two months ago i couldnt believe i had it in my hands golden buds with hues of orange and brownish red...the smoke is smooth as hell citrusy orange flavor kinda like cactus cooler in smoke form the high is out this world a true sativa head high very nice and relaxing i smoked the living shit out of it,anyway got some seeds out of it and one successfull plant looks like she is a female and iam planning on cloning her..

sativa seeds has a pureoaxicanmexican sativa that's supposed to be euphoric called eldorado. i hope to test that in a couple months.

the ORIGINAL mexican strains are all virtually extinct in pure form, especially in the seed market. you'd find a cross of panama red or columbian before that.

ask you mother how it smoked. chances are there's a good strain out there that's similar. if you want something really trippy, sannies' killing fields is supposed to be really "old school". i started out smoking trippy columbian gold and haven't smoked anything that good since, but high quality seeds' haze x skunk is NOT shabby! it's more potent and active and maybe even more euphoric, but not quite as trippy in the sesnses, but it's wicked long lasting to the point it starst building up in your system leaving you with a slight perma buzz even the next day. i think it has great tolerance too as i'd have to take a break from constant blazing gold once it started getting stony where haze skunk was still chugging along at the month mark & helping me maintain a diet i started on it.

for something a little warmer & mellow, but very smile inducing, mandala's 8 miles high is nice too. it might even have a little bit more sensory effect going on as i ended up dancing the robot on it and feeling like one too with very precise muscle control.

every day, more & more IBLs are becoming extinct. i don't recall ever seeing an acapulco gold dominant, even years ago.

i've also heard really good things about TGA subcool's jack the ripper that's supposed to be very hazey, but finishing in just 9 weeks where most hazes are closer to the 12 weeks or more mark.

there's a lot of great stuff out there that will make your mom happy. it's just that on most streets, you never see ANYTHING that gets you high anymore, but there are strains out there that do. i think most of the peeps growing them aren't in it for the money.

I've seen a barneys farm AG it was huge. Took over a room and had to be put outside. And is taking a while to flower. Anyone familiar with this phenotype?

barneys farm acopolco gold is a great smoke really nice.

I figured I would just share the link since we use this as an outdoor grow every year. Also seedsman has the original land race traits not the hector field of schwag traits...Most of those traits come from crossing with hindu kush from what I have read the wanted to up yield but it lowered potency....These have both yield and potency...

If you are looking for landrace or heirloom sativa hybrids I would look at SnowHigh seeds. They work with many genotype a that were thought to be lost. I'm currently running;

agree 100% SNOWHIGH Seeds ,he does a lot with the older strains and AG is a strain he works with a lot .check him out ,I think your Mom would give his AG strains the thumbs up.

Yep...got several growing now and they do get HUGE...will not know if they are worth it until a few months from now..they appear to be slow as hell to flower.

I guess its time to show you boys and girls a real Acapulco gold and explain what they really are and why Acapulco's and other southern Mexicans have been sprayed for years. This is for the right brain thinker, the seekers, who need not scientific bullocks and long winded answers, that have no truth in them, but sounds good when posted by an avatar with a nutty professor logo. This is stinky sandy and she is a 100% pure unadulterated Acapulco gold. We hatched sandy out last spring from the seeds I brought out west from the southeast that we had collected for years as we knew the uninspiring cripi indica's and dutch gear and hps was primary and why so many out here have not gotten full healings and benefits, even though it helps. Weak genetics, hybrids and cutting way too early using hps seem to be the norm when this ole hillbilly got out hear, so much to help with, if people are willing. This thin leaf makes a sativa mentality, is bullocks and you guys need to get a map and study. Most of the most useful info on cannabis, is in the southeast, were it is oppressed and people don't talk much because of law. Acapulco gold is bamboo...period. Father is strong and will move in the wind, dropped off some old eggs, till were moved again. Acapulco gold seeds. They have a bamboo color and when fully mature will have ghost striping. Mottled black seeds are usually northern purples towards the east. Striping comes from the west either north or south can have striping. Mexican hybrids? Well we are number one for mexi back home and hybrids were something I found rarely. Great seeds can also still be found through local stuff every Christmas. Well, might as well show the Bob and sandy strain as their hatching. Big Dogg male, Bob " chemdawg clone only 91 x pure oaxacan male x pure Acapulco gold sandy." Being born to a pure mother, they really are like ac golds. Start slow and then has a spurt and then slows down. That's what pure ac golds do and so does bamboo, lol..love it, love y'all. Only difference between ac golds and ac reds is the soil grown in. Ac golds grow closer to the coasts and ac reds grow more inland were clay is available and they go red like panamas in clay soil. If we grow them outside in our red clay the ancestors bled into to make it red, the trees even panamas will retain most their red. If not, they don't after a while. Both however are bamboo. I use to have a neighbor back home, that walked with a petrified 35 year old bamboo stick,...I thought.
