It's about testing the companies recipe against another companies recipe. If 2.0 EC grows better crops with one brand then the other then the brand that won has a more complete nutrient solution. What's hard to grasp, we're not understanding because your point is ridiculous.

If Homebrewer based his experiment on EC values (which he did) my point is he took it upon himself to alter the feeding based on his MISCONSTRUED UNDERSTANDING OF WHAT EC ACTUALLY MEASURES. equal ec values is not the variable in testing between 2 nutrients, one should read the directions

Well what you should have taken from that post, if you read it all, was that all meters measure in EC and it's converted to PPM.

Soup B has a+b+c+d for a total of a+b+c+d equaling EC 2

It would stand to reason that Soup B has more a+b+c+d in it than Soup A BECAUSE SOUP A HAS EFG in it , adding to the final EC value of 2.

I would take soup B if I didn't want e,f,g so I would buy DYNA
I prefer AN for the e,f,g.

So the fact that certain species of plants have prefered EC requirements means nothing and we should all follow manufacturers directions?

Don't know about you but if I mixed my CANNA nutes at the bottle directions i would be burning the shit out of my plants with an EC in excess of 2.0.

I very rarely exceed 1.6EC.

Here in the UK the price tag is pretty extreme at times for AN depending upon product.

Yes I'm a CANNA man another cannabis specific nute company but my bottles are pretty basic.

I don't bash AN other than the price tags of some bottles.

Canna has some bottles that cost far too much for the little benefits they give. BOOST ACCELERATOR is a perfect example. (£65 per litre. That's about $100)

I've posted what I use.

Could I use a less costly base nute. Sure I could.
I could pay £4 per litre for a base nute or even buy dry salts and make my own.

However then comes the learning curve of new nutes.

I've used my current nutes for almost 5 years and know them like the back of my hand.

Personally I think the biggest issue anyone had with AN is that there are so many different variations of nutes that they manufacture. This is very confusing. How do you purchase the "right" ones for you.
Then comes the bundle packs to make it easier for you but with a serious price tag attached.

Thanks man. I have done some tinkering myself, but also have been helped by guys in the past, who run similar regimens and the same genetics which helped too.

The problems come when you follow their feeding program. If they were not greedy fucks trying to make you use more than you need, people would have greater success with their products that are actually worth running.

I am not a fan of who runs their company or how it's ran, but if I boycotted every company who I didn't agree with I would not be left with many options as a consumer.
