Thank you both. I didn't know it could be opened. I'll take a look after work. Will I be able to easily tell once it's opened?

Yes you should be able to tell there should be markings on the board with DC + - and AC on the other side and if not just pop open another one that is wired correctly and look at the board in that to compare to see if its in backwards in the odd one with the wires coming out the wrong sides.

Well I finally got around to finishing most of Heaven Bright's website today, with only a few pieces missing, such as photos and videos of the fixtures - those will be uploaded very soon :wink:.

Under the "Products" tab, at the bottom of the page, you will come across a linked-button - click it. This will bring you to the newly released "Shop" section of the site, providing AutoCAD diagrams of the fixtures, as well as prices; be sure to check it out! :-P



O and also, if you could choose a color or colors for your lighting fixture(s), what would you choose? I have black as the default but would like to offer at least x5 different yet popular colors by the end of the year :bigjoint:. I'd love to hear/read what colors you guys and gals are after!

Haha, yeah.. bit of an extreme difference in visuals! Lol... but the 2D AutoCAD files were intended to show myself and others how the fixtures would look over a given area rather than to provide colorful, defining artwork - building the actual contraption accomplishes the same intent; fixtures always look better on the screen!

If SolidWorks didn't charge an annual, reoccurring reactivation key for students, I would have been tempted to revisit the skills that I acquired last year from a college course. O well, I guess the real deal beats the rest ;).

AutoCAD 3D... no thank you :grin:

I learned a lot of things during the prototyping stage, for one there not being commercially-available double ended female IEC cords, lol, and if there is, I have yet to find them!

Besides one of the prototype's flaws, guod, what else is going wrong/right with this piece of work? You seem to have a firm grasp on what should and shouldn't be.

Yes, I gave each COB module/unit wings so that it could 'fly' around, lol. I had to cover those ugly holes, so I did roll with plastic endcaps, lol.
