Am I Paranoid or should I run for my LIFE!!!

Hello All, I wanted to run this incident by everyone. 1st grow in a # of years, decided to try DWC-nothing major 3-4 plants under a 250W. Limited budget and doing the best I can to get everything set up. Started the seeds in STG cubes-bedroom closet. Let em go there under 2 23W florecents until they looked like they could stand the 250W. I made a make shift cabinet outta particale board, panda film and whatever I could find laying around. Decent job.....barely any light showed through. So anyways, as I am grabbing the last little bit of supplies at the store to have my Cabinet truley stealth (Velcro Strips and what not) I get a call from home saying the Electric Company is in the Basement!!! The landlord just popped in with them and needs to use our electricity to run some freakin Christmas Sceen he wants to do because getting to his box would be to much trouble??!!?? They were talkin about hooking up to our Circuit Breaker because it is easier than using his for whatever reason. The whole flippin thing semmed strange to me, but on the other hand what in the hell coulda tipped anyone off when running a 250W light for a total of 2 days. I dont know...the people in the house that answered the door couldnt even tell me if it was the actual City or some private electric company. Anyways, 3 Blackberrys that were doin GREAT have been flushed. I just wanted some imput on wether or not you think I am going nuts, it was just a coincidence or I should get the hell outta dodge???!!! Thanks for reading, hope your atleast getting a good laugh from my delema, especially you fine people who do not live in occupied Germany and can actually get a card and grow medicine w/out the worry of going to Prison. Anyways, let me know what ya think

I think you're paranoid, but it's your call dude..

Was your light on when they were there? Did they see anything related to growing? Running a 250 for 2 days would raise your electric bill maybe $3.00. Hell my microwave is 1000w. I'm pretty skeptical they were there for anything other than the Xmas thing you mentioned. However, if they saw your grow then you should definitely lay low. If they saw nothing grow related I don't think you have anything to worry about. Maybe wait a month just in case though

yeah....not sure-I mean all they could see would be a light coming from under this 5 foot tall box that has this black tarp crap on it.....doesnt take a rocket scientist to figure that out!!!

This story doesn't make mush sense. The landlord went into your rental without notice with the electric company? I find it insane people risk growing in a rental.

You flushed your plants after they were there? Huh? If the landlord saw anything more than likley they would have spoken to you about it, yeah? Again, none of this makes any sense.

so your grow box was in a room they could of seen or no? Did you know that you could get the cops to give them a trespass warning if they come over w/o 24 hr notice and just let themselves in unless its an absolute emergency. Not saying you should do it though unless you and your landlord have a lease signed so he cant retaliate by kicking you out. He has no right in your rental unless he tells you 24 hrs ahead of time, he cant just pop in whenever he wants.
