Man really nice..I live near Bakersfield and also a medical grower..The outdoor sun is amazing plants get so big i have a few 6ft plants...but i wanted to ask you are you phing you water with ever watering?

the ph level around the area seems to be pretty alright straight from the tap

Hello fellow Sacramentian! Local myself, have had some ph probs with the local water, now I feed from a 55 gallon barrel, sos I can keep tabs on what the girls get. What a diff it made!

How many hours of direct sunlight does it get? You need at least 5. Ph becomes even more critical during flowering.
If I were you, I'd get a ph meter and get that water to about 6.3ph, you already have the sunlight problem, keeping the ph at 6.3 will help increase the yield/quality.

That one there gets four hours tops. Like I said, my bad. I underestimated how tall the weedy bullshit garbage trees they plant for shade in the suburbs had gotten.
As for pH, my runoff comes in under 7, and that's as good as they are going to get. They get the hose. It hasn't seem to hurt Abby; she's looking quite healthy top to bottom.

I really fucked up here. I didn't look to the sky and then east and west closely enough before I dug this hole. Epic fail. I'll get an ounce or two, but this one is just mostly a curiosity.
What makes you think an ounce or two? Crappy indoor plants half that size under CFL's can pull an ounce. I know it's only 4 hours direct but it just seems you'll get more.

Yeah, I'm sure I'll do a little better than an ounce or two off that one, but it's not gonna be epic by any means. Still, for a $50 investment (the soil, the clone, and nutes to date), I'll make out just fine. Gotta love that 100% free sunshine.

So shortly after those pictures were taken the decision was made that she's getting a bit too tall for the yard, and needs to be tied down. And so I went and got a roll of that green strapping they use for tying plants and new trees, pulled out some tent stakes, and started to gently bend her over (that sounds dirty..).
Anyway, that night, ended up with this dumb broad in the back yard that wanted to pick tomatoes and strawberrys. "Just be careful and watch out for those straps" I say. "Oh yeah, no problem, I see them" she says. Thirty seconds later I hear "oh shit, oops oops" and then the crunchy SNAP of one of the main stalks breaking off down near the bottom.
I immediately ran and grabbed the roll of strapping and a flashlight, and then had the stupid bitch hold the branch in place while I mended it. And then I kicked her the fuck out of the back yard.
24 hours later and all seems well; whole plant looks healthy and vigorous, including the broken and mending limb. But shit, I just didn't need that.
I'll post some pics of the wound tomorrow.
