Mr I Can Do That For Half
Yeah that soil is god awful looking. If your going to use Miracle grow the only one I have used and seen work is the Moisture control mix.

Your plants are only as good as what your soil or nutrients can give them, you get extra luck from soil with a living root ecosystem but soil is very important.

yeah other then outdoor this is my last soil grow, i'm either going rdwc or dwc for indoors. i do like mg for outdoors and will stick to it. was going to get some ffhf but had to fix the ol ladies car, so i'm saving money again. i wish i could get my hours back. i'm waiting on them to sex then transplant the females, i might the males too but all i want from them is the pollen for breeding. got some stuff for a hydro grow and i got another building on the farm i got to drag home, i'll have some work to do on it but i think it will work out. that way i won't be using this box no more.

well as of today, pink #1 is a male. well i have half of my breeding stock. kush looks to be there in the next couple days, so far it is looking female, but not sure yet. i do have old eyes and am almost blind in my right eye. hell you know your old when you have to take your glasses off to see up close or read.

pink #1 just got a new home all by it's self. i still have the old little box i started with last year, so i hung a clamp on type light with a 13 watt 5000k bulb over it. i got two females showing, pink #2 and the kush. got to get ready for a transplant on them now. hope to have some pics later.

a local green house has a blend of peat and perlite that is made for their use, i'm going to go get 2 cubic foot friday or saturday. it's transplant time, got 3 for sure females, one i believe is female, and one that hasn't shown yet. i got pink #1 male under 23 watts 5000k and he is in the stretch got to get something around him to catch the pollen, pink#3 needs to bare seeds so i can keep this line running, and maybe the kush too, just for the hell of it. i pulled the 2 23 watt 5000k out and put in 2 26 watt 2700k bulbs this morning, i can see them starting to stretch, and had to raise the light alittle. pics sunday after transplant. peace

Whooha, whats with the center cfl? Does it have a cover on it? Can you run it canadian style (bare bulb south facing) ?

yes it has the lens on it, as all of my floods do. i have never tried to cut one off, as it is solid. a couple of them are older lights that need to be replaced. the wife saw the leds while they where on, and wants them to go outside on the house, she is just going to have to stick to the halogens.
