Not realistic to point fingers necessarily at SF , electrical shit fails …. just like everything else.
That's The Truth.. Like I said their lights are Great overall. But on the the Realistic side is they pump out large quantities of units (pallets) of there lights. Any and All mechanically manufactured equipment will still have a certain Percentage Of Failure. Just look at Ford or Chevrolet for example :blsmoke:

I sent Spiderfarmer a message on their website about the light issue. That was about 10 days ago. I haven't even gotten a "Hay tough shit, sorry bout your luck" or even an "hay it was free oh well" From Spiderfarmer customer service! BTW, I will not be doing the grow journal. As you requested the winner to do. I just dont want glue melting off the light onto my buds underneath it/ or a possible house fire!! It is what it is!

Maybe a silver lining is get upgraded boards and shit can the originals - matching to the driver of course.
So you mean like a Frankenstein light? Of different parts from different manufacturers? Seriously Question, as I really dont mess around with building lights. But are the drivers on top, interchangeable to other led companies boards? Sorry if it sounds like a dumb question.

A driver is a driver is a driver.
Like a computer. You can run an asus board with Intel chips or amd same diff
Match wattage/amps and you're good.

Hello,
We just noticed the issue of your light.
Please do not worry, firstly we can confirm it's not burn marks. If it's burn, then the diodes will do not works.

Please check the following feedback from our engineer:
To offer the waterproof of the light, each panel of the led will have a layer of glue, the yellow marks is on the glue. You can check.
For the reason, might be the nutrition you use.

Hope this can do some help.

Please help me understand just how= "For the reason, might be the nutrition you use".

What in the world would the nutrition I use have Anything to do with how a light would perform??

Once again they're making any excuse to avoid taking responsibility. This is very common for them and is the main reason I didn't buy their light.

At this point you'd think any company would try to cut it's losses and bad press and just trade the damn thing for a new one.

...take it back if they want and do a tear-down/review of what's gone wrong here. Burn/fire risk is a nightmare scenario for anyone who buys high wattage lights for in-home use.

Had a non-light small-maker make a high wattage electrical device for me that was never quite right. It was worked on a few times and sent across country (at their expense) to make it right. After the second round trip, they took it back, sent me a brand new one that they'd built from scratch to make sure it was flawless...then tore apart the original to find the elusive ghost int he machine.
