ps. You are supposed to have a stash hidden from her, not the other way around. A few years ago I lived with a girl who didn't even know I was ever high. I kept a loaded smokeless pipe on me at all times. Go for a piss, take a hit. Walk into another room, take a hit. While she's in the dunny, take a hit. Chew gum. Live happy.

pps. SLH is a pretty nice smoke man.

First of all, I am quite new to having a stash. I never had much weed before, only ever a bag and that was never a problem. Now that I am smoking day and night, my girlfriend has taken it all away just to stop me from smoking 24/7...she doesn't mind me smoking, but just thinks that everything in moderation is a good rule of thumb. I am not disagree with her, so I just let her hide my stash (and as if I don't know where she is hiding it).

I chose to grow SSH, as I didn't think it would be that smelly. SLH on the other hand I have heard is quite pungent, so I didn't chose to grow that one as I am doing my first grow outdoor.

I am not accusing you lot of not having a breeding project going on, I would just like to be involved.

I would like to have a melbourne kush, as well as a sydney skunk, adelaide haze etc etc...something that we can have as our own...

Hope that makes sense.

Cheers

typo bro, I meant SSH and I was taking the piss about having a stash from her, sort of. Not at your expense tho bro. And Im sure there are bigger connections than us motherfukas doing big things in oz but you won't find them on the internet methinks. That said, the best cuts of modern times have come out of a random batch bought off the net so its possible that us little dudes hit something big as we are likely to select for different things.
A little moderation is a good thing man (probably) and the women in my life keep my feet on the ground.

I'm thinking of mixing some vortex and some jilly...as they are the only two strains that I have in regular seed form...

But I know that I have little chance of making something good if I am selecting a male from 5 seeds.

Cheers

If you are starting with good genetics, you will make good seed, that's not a worry. Exceptional only comes along once in a blue moon though and is really hard to replicate in seed form. By this I mean that resin content, smell, taste, potency are all usually passed on in some amount. Most cheese s1 and f1s are pretty potent and cheesy but a real cheese cut fucken stinks and will rip your head off at 10 feet. I'm sure the original White widow cut is better than any WW smoke I've had, etc...

2 strains that are handy breeding tools imo, both heavily inbred & stable BOG sour bubble, use these males to improve girls you have, sour bubble will tighten up your nugs and frost them up. The other one is Nordle by nevil/shanti which is the original 80s Super Skunk -afghan/skunk IBL. the afghan is the afghan T from the same seedstock maple leaf Indica came from, nevil describes as the original 'skunk archetype'. I have a hunch that nordle males will take very kindly to my SLH, increasing/improving yield and vigor while maintaining the heavy smoke and outrageous terpene profile. A more compact structure some will find more manageable then the SLH to.
My slh and sour bub is another fizzer imo, the potential to improve sour bub structure, the aesthetics of the nug structure, the combinations of terpenes at the cross-hair of the hybrid will make for some truly stinking potent sticky dense plants, the SLH for strength of flavor and the sour bub for the depth.

G'day all,

Just stumbled across this section of the forums.
I'm in NSW doing a 2-plant DWC Scrog with Joey Weed AK99 (C99 x AK47) --> (link) https://www.rollitup.org/dwc-bubbleponics/490922-dwc-cooler-scrog-2-x.html

Oh and has anyone ever bought any seeds from attitude? do they ship to australia?
Yes I bought some Reserva Privada (OG Kush) seeds from them about 2 months ago and they arrived in about 2 weeks.
Good service, reliable, never heard anyone complain about Attitude Seeds.

I also bought seeds for my current grow from www.hempdepot.ca and they arrived no problem eitther. Only niggle is they only accept international money orders, cash or bank transfers. No PayPal or credit card facility.

I totally agree that there are some absolutely awesome Aussie growers/breeders out there!

I remember how kind and knowledgable The Penguin was from Overgrow.com many years ago when I first started growing.
He very kindly sent me my very first seeds which were of his Aussie Bush Sativa and that weed was the strongest and most enjoyable weed I have ever smoked.
Everyone who had it all those years ago still talks about it today with a dreamy, lustful glint in their eye.

My very fisrt grow I scrogged TP's Aussie Bush Sativa and it was awesome! Very piney and fresh smelling and was the first grow of his strain that he had seen in a Scrog.
If anyone knows TP if you could give him a shout that I'm keen to reconnect that would be awesome.

Cheers!

tp's aussie bush sativa, sounds like the mullumbimby madness bro. she was a massive strain here in aus in the 70's. shantibaba claims to have been over here and done some work with it. there is even claims that white widow carries some of its genes. shit was so popular thats why some people still call weed mull to this day.

attitude rocks i buy seeds htere all the time never had a problem

oh and shanti's black widow supposedly produces top notch breeding males that improve on whatever they touch. it makes sense you do see a lot of widow crosses with a widow father. i guess its just that the widow is such a consistent producer all the seeds produce a winner so it takes the guess work out of getting a male. that said i think a good male is worth its weight in gold. how many breeders out there seem to just have one or 2 good males. you read through there genetics and sure enough nearly all there strains can be trced back to one or 2 males.

Tga is similar...a lot of the strains have a space queen male.
Your right on there 'ome

Of course he was here bro hes an Aussie, so is Nev :bigjoint:
Good call on the BW.
The black widow males are used to pass the 'white' frost coverage, and the widow 'sting' from what I understand.
Seems to me the BW males take some selection because the BW can be a big stretchy plant & hermie prone. IMO use all the males, back them up and progeny test, and see who passes the frost and sting consistently. IMO takes a bit more selection being that the BW is an f1 hybrid so not stable for all desirable traits when bred.

The Aussie bush sat, I think that may be what Wally Duck & moon unit use it to breed. 'Zoidfuel' by memory contains old Aussie bush sat & PNG Gold. I think they are releasing a version of zoid as well as 'mbs' 'mind body, soul' which is c99 x deepchunk x zoidfuel.

Here's some links Globule that may help. Good luck finding your old mate.
Poyce.

you guys r cool,

keepin it real, growin, what ever strain ya got going, fucken oath, about what he said before about nug structure and stuff
if you grow my slh cut and an understanding of mr nice Nordle you will see this is a ready made seedline, just change the name and give it a cool description, hype it up and watch it sell.. Not much different then alot of seed producers imo
