Personally i had some bad experience with Mars Hydro, both with their product and customer service so i wouldn't recommend it.
If you search around you'll see plenty of negative comments and reviews about Mars Hydro regarding their quality. Most of the good reviews come from sponsors, or people who got a free light and are obliged to give a good review. Or people who just bought the light, vegged a plant for 1 month and they were so excited and happy they gave a good review. But what about 1, 2 or 3 years later? Very few legit positive reviews, they must be very lucky to have a good experience with Mars Hydro even after few years.
They are really good at marketing, that's where most of their investment goes, not into quality..
And their so called ''5 year warranty'' is basically a clickbait, you only get 1 year free warranty, the rest you have to pay for shipping BOTH WAYS, repairs, parts etc.. And it's highly possible they will try to avoid honoring their warranty, or sending wrong parts, or you just might wait for few months until they send the light back to China for repairs. Overall a bad company with bad customer service and a 50-50% chance of getting a good product, it's a gamble..

If you are going for cheaper lights i'd rather pick Spider Farmer, Maxisun, Bestva, Viparspectra.. Although they are in the same range as Mars, they aren't as risky and they are slightly better.

But i would highly recommend MIGRO, i own his light and it's awesome. Only 300€ just within your budget. Both the light fixture and the driver run extremely cool, it's high efficiency and high quality, 3 years full warranty.. Customer service is excellent as well.
You can order 1 short and 1 long bracket so you can adjust the distance between the light bars as needed. You get 2 fixtures for 2x4 tent so you can hang one fixture lower and the other higher in case you grow 2 strains at once. Distance from canopy is only around 10 inches, it's short on purpose to have an even spread, and it also helps with height.
Now he made some upgrades, i have the older model so i can't wait to try the newer one. Strangely it's a very underrated light even though Migro is popular and many people trust his videos. And don't get mislead by the wattage thinking Mars 300W is better than Migro 250W. His lights are more efficient so they don't need 300W, and Mars lights barely pull the correct wattage anyway, most people get around 280 real wattage.

Im trying to figure out how to order the short and long bars? I am going to grab the migro light for sure. Might even get the 4+red and 2+red and use the shorter bars thatll fill my whole closet. But dont know how to buy them. Lol

No need to completely cover the closet. I'm in a 2x4 grow tent and my 2x2 ft Szhlux pt4000 does more than enough coverage, it clames to cover a 6x6 ft area. I have one plant that stretched past the lights highest possible position so it was nice having the room to slide the girl to the side of the light and add a grow bulb over it.
BTW. I would never use any other LED light. It's so easy to figure out. I set the present time, set light on and light off time. Set the temperature monitor so IT can dim the lights if things get hot. And forget about it until the next growth stage. When I started out that sensor saved my harvest when the A/C broke.
Happy Crops

Ask Migro in e-mail about the brackets. Although that was the case for the older model, i'm not sure if his newer model has different bracket sizes yet, he just released his new model very recently like a week or few weeks ago.
But that is optional anyway, i never changed my bracket. I will do it next time for seedling and early veg, i will first use a shorter bracket for a tight lightspread and switch to longer bracket later. You can do it perfectly fine without, it's just a nice feature. But ask him in e-mail either way :)

I would just get the Migro 4, or maybe two Migro 2's if you want even more flexibility but that would cost 80€ more. With Migro 4 you get one single driver powering two fixtures, but with two Migro 2's you get two drivers. This gives you the flexibility of running the lights in separate 2x2 tents, or using just 1 light for seedlings etc.. But it's your decision if you think 80€ more is worth it.

I don't think you would need one 4 and one 2, if you think you need supplemental light there are cheaper options for that, but i doubt you'd need more light. I'd rather get the UVB from Migro with that money instead.
And the price for 4 + 2 would be around 500€ in total, i think for that price there are also other options like OpticLED, ChilLED, HLG etc..

I emailed him he said that since my exact measurements for closet is 2.5x4.5 foot to go with 2 aray 3s for the best spread or go with a progrow 320 from grow light science. Thats $600 compared to $300. He said better spread from the progrow than i would get from the aray 4. Now idk what ima go with. Lol

you're doing closet, right? I would just get your original $300 growight you were going to get.

closet growing isn't supposed to be sophisticated. it should be efficient to the point to make something grow. I got me a $300 growlight and 4 five gallon grow bags underneath it, them things is growing
